Main disadvantages: The room was too dark. Very little storage place for cloths and other personal items. No drawers or shelves what so ever. I had to keep all of my cloths on a chair and in my suitcase. The promised free Wi fi did not work most of the time, and when it did, the signal was very weak.

Main advantages: Good location, close to the Metro, restaurants, shopping center and many shops nearby. The hotel staff is very patient and helpful. Good command of English.

Main advantages: Convenient location near brasserie, shops and the Montparnasse metro. A bit old and tired but the staff ESP the elderly gentleman on night shift try hard and are polite.

Main advantages: Everything was great, the staff, location and the hotel. Very close to both a metro and metro stations and the air france bus. Within walking distance to many interesting places and restaurants.

Main disadvantages: The room and the bathroom were small.

Main advantages: Great location, near the metro station, restaurants, stores... The staff was very nice, we had you support to booking tours and shows. The room was clean and with acustic windows. The breakfast was very good.

Main advantages: The location was ideal, walking distance to Luxembourg Jardin, and many restaurants and shops outside the door. Also very convenient to Metro stops, Gare Montparnasse and the Air France bus for return to the airport. The hotel staff was friendly, and the breakfast fresh and filling for a long day of sight-seeing. The bathroom was spacious and the room has two doors that opened to small balconies.

Main advantages: The Royal St. Germain Hotel was wonderful. Like most hotels in Paris (grand luxury excluded), our room was small, but it was cozy, comfortable and everything worked very well. Great shower, plenty of hot water and extremely comfortable beds. We had requested a 2nd floor room with 2 twin beds, and we got exactly what we asked for. The daily continental breakfast was excellent with ham, a selection of cheeses, a selection of breads including croissants and baguettes, phenomenal jams and marmalades, 3 cold cereals with milk, yogurt, and eggs anyway you want them for an extra 2.30 Euros. Tea, coffee and OJ also, in a real nice Salon with great service - the server remembered our room number from the prior morning! While the elevator is small, we fit 4 suitcases and one person in there, so it wasn't bad at all. They provide a programmable safe for valuables and a mini-refrigerator that is stocked with drinks (at mini-bar prices) but in which you can store unfinished drinks of your own or dinner leftovers. Room thermostat regulated the temperature very well, but you have to know celsius or be able to convert it to fahrenheit (degrees celsius x 9/5, + 32). There is a working laptop computer in the Salon that was usually available and which allowed free internet access so I could keep up with sporting events at home and world news. Hotel is in a prime location between 2 Metro stops that allow you access to a total of 4 Metro lines, plus a bus stop right out front. Many cafes and stores accessible by foot, as well as the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. Extremely helpful hotel manager provided city map we needed, and the taxi that we ordered through the Hotel to take us to the airport when we left was spot on time. Hotel is even "green" in that you must insert your room key card into a slot in the room to turn the lights on which saves electricity when you take your key with you when you leave the room. Nothing but raves for the Royal St. Germain! A+++++
