Main advantages: This hotel really is within walking distance of the Part Dieu train station. If one is using the Rhone Express from or to the airport, the hotel is very accessable to the the train station.

Main disadvantages: House cleaning left a lot to be desired. One of our rooms had a dirty towel left behind the door, the trash can was full when we got there and the room was quite dusty.

Main advantages: The staff were very pleasant. They spoke & understood English, very friendly and accommodating to all our requests.

Main disadvantages: Extra payfor breakfast & what most unsatisfying is the air is not fresh in the hotel (but you can open air-conditioner in your room, in that way it willbe fine)

Main advantages: It was a relaxed and very comfortable place to stay. A quiet street in an otherwise busy and popular part of Lyon, which is a pretty nice combination.

Main disadvantages: I expected a bit more variety in the breakfast. Canned fruit cocktail and wedges of Brie cheese seemed to be the most extravagant of additions to croissants and rolls.

Main advantages: It is a no fuss type of place. Simple breakfast in the mornings, clean room. I was in Lyon to see the city and have a place to sleep and relax that was close to the train station. Richelieu offered just that.

Main disadvantages: I stayed in an economy room at the back of the hotel. This was clearly stated to be near the train tracks. I am a very light sleeper and it is a very busy station.

Main advantages: The location is excellent, Near both the business district the train station and shopping centre of Lyon. The staff are both very helpful and professional

Main disadvantages: The shower stall needs a curtain or the shower head should be repositioned as the water drips onto the bathroom floor. There should be a thick bathroom mat for this purpose and also to stand on when leaving the shower. Thicker and larger towels would be nice too. A toilet brush should be available to the guest. The TV does not have a remote control.

Main advantages: We will stay there again. It suited our needs perfectly as a place to stay for one night in central Calais. It is very nice being opposite the park and we liked having a small balcony. The yard in which we parked our car is secure and private. The owner, Benoit Grancier is charming and very helpful. Very close to tunnel/ferry.

Main advantages: Comfortable, friendly, clean and individual. The breakfast was excellent, and the position central but quiet. The bathroom was lovely, with a cast iron old fashioned claw foot bath, and the room was large and comfortable.It was extremely good value for money.

Main disadvantages: From outside the building of the hotel doesn't look very attractive, but inside it's fine.

Main advantages: Reasonably priced budget hotel, was conviniently located on our way from Normandy to Belgium. Rooms are clean & functional, usual french breakfast, good place for overnight without any extras.

Main disadvantages: The building was heavily under construction. No elevator working. 4th Floor walk up, which is fine without luggage, though we had some. We did not get a deal through this site... same price as they advertised on their window.

Main advantages: The room was clean, had pretty decorations, and simple. It gets lots of light, had a TV for rainy evenings, and felt safe and cozy. Bed was more than ample for the two of us. Nice view from the balcony. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

Main advantages: The night manager was helpful and friendly. The Receptionist,on booking out, was a little brusque but no great problems. Easy access to car ferry and overall quite comfortable. We left a pillow there, by mistake.

Main disadvantages: The hotel is very tired. It si undergoing refurbishing but I think it isa very slow job and is being done by the owner himself! Breakfast wedecided against as it was very basic for 7 Euro

Main disadvantages: Peeling wallpaper. Threadbare carpets on stairs. Room described as 'Double with shower'. Shower was integral to taps in a bath, and there was no shower curtain, so one couldn't help splashing water outside the bath area !
