Main disadvantages: Not enough staff on front desk to deal with customers. Given wrong rooms initally. Sofa bed in new room did not work and had to change room again, In the other room the toilet door would not close properly. We fixed it temporarily ourselves as no one was available to fix it until the next day.

Main advantages: Foyer was warm and very impressive looking. The pool was good. Did not go for breakfasts as on top of hotel price it worked out too expensive.

Main disadvantages: Nothing. It was a very good deal because I used Booking.com

Main advantages: When I travel to Paris I always try to book a hotel near Gare de Lyon because it is easy to get in and out. Easy access to Paris metro and rer. Line 1 gets me to most interesting places in the city of light. I can find good value restaurants, bakeries and pharmacies in this neighbourhood.

Main disadvantages: Found mini bar difficult to use

Main advantages: We had come to Paris to celebrate a 70th Birthday of an old friend-I am on a pension and have been to Paris many times but have found old fashioned cheap hotels are horrible and out of date, Novotel g de l excellent transport position & excellent breakfasts- easy from airport Cde g - line b cross platform at c les h then line a= Staff esp reception very good.

Main disadvantages: The only thing I would have to say they could do slightly better is their room service menu which wasn't very big.

Main advantages: The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were happy to communicate in english (this was a problem for me at other hotels). My room was very clean and comfortable and though I only stayed one night, it was an enjoyable stay. Gare De Lyon Metro station is only a few minutes walk away so it made it easy to travel around Paris and the Reception staff were helpful with directions and assistance in calling taxis etc.

Main advantages: The location is so good .you coudl go everyevery from there ,and find the rer ,metro very easy .2 stops to lafayette and 1 stop to the halls .....confortable room.surround lots for good restaurant

Main advantages: The location was good, central. The ambience and cleanliness was very good too but the staff were suspicious and their responce to requests and telephone at the reception was very poor. They did not pick calls at all or picked and never got back on request. Pricing was also reasonable

Main disadvantages: Everything was OK. There is nothing to criticize. Just for your information, this district is not as attractive as the city center, but you may arrive the city center by metro (just four/five stations distance to the Louvre museum) in 10 minutes.

Main advantages: Comfortable and clean rooms, very close to Gare de Lyon, price is good.
