Main disadvantages: Apparently really nice rooftop balcony belongs to the hotel. Unfortunately it was closed when we were there (april / eastern weekend).

Main advantages: Our room was basic but fully equipped with a stylish interior design. I really liked the fact that there was free wifi and an iMac in our room providing entertainment and useful stuff such as direct access to google maps, which helps you plan and research thing in town. Right across the street there s a decent concert venue and three different bus lines run right in front of the door. Metro is only a couple of minutes walk. Furthermore the Bastille district and rue Charonne are down the road (walking distance). This is a brilliant part of town with loads of shops, bars, cafés and nightlife, which is popular among locals.

Main disadvantages: The Bedrooms are quite small and the bathroom didn't have a pleasant smell

Main advantages: It had a fresh and fun atmosphere. The sort of Hotel that you'd be happy to spend in on a Saturday night.

Main disadvantages: I am afraid the thing I like disliked most, is something you can do nothing about and that was the location, which was a bit too far from city centre for me.This was aggravated by the fact that there are no convenient Metro stations near to hand which had lines that went direclty into town without a number of changes on route

Main advantages: The staff were extemely helpful and had no problems giving me a slighlty later check out, something that can be a big issues in some hotels The place is definately funky with the design and the rooms

Main disadvantages: 10 min walk to underground. The food in the restaurant is over priced and not very good.

Main advantages: Hotel was really funky and the staff very pleasant. The bar had a great atmosphere and the immeadiate area is pleasant. The bed is really comfortable.

Main disadvantages: The location is very off. The lights were a bit too dim, and a lampshade was broken. The fridge was useless, a high tech-thing that was available for mini-bar purposes only. Everybody wants to be able to store something of their own choosing in the fridge, especially if you stay for more than one night.

Main advantages: Lovely, clever hotel with chic interiors – and very affordable.
