| Main disadvantages: For a luxury hotel where you are paying a very high room price anyway the additional chargiong for facilities such as use of the Beach Club and swimming pool is outrageous and we will not return to the hotel on that basis alone. |
| Main advantages: We liked the grandeur of the hotel and the location is very central for access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The beach club pier is also a spectacular setting for relaxing and swimming. |

| Main disadvantages: Having to reserve a lounge chair at the pool is a bit rude when you are paying the nightly rate you pay to stay at this hotel. |
| Main advantages: We enjoyed our time at this hotel so much that we extended our stay. The concierge went out if his way to investigate our rail tickets for us. Never have we experienced such service. This hotel is very expensive so we chose to eat breakfast at a little cafe around the corner from the hotel. It added to our Cannes experience. The pool is great and the hotel us next to the Cannes film festival theatre Palais du Festival. Opposite the beach and next to all the luxury brand boutiques. Very glamorous! Loved it!! |

| Main disadvantages: The price of the beach is not included in the room rate, which I think is not fair since most people come there for sunbathing in june-september. Also the room needs a lot of refurbishment, and the staff at beach is really slow and some of them don't speak english. |

| Main disadvantages: The cost of lunch in the beach restaurant was quite steep - over Euro130 for a quick lunch on arrival seemed very high, when the food was not that much better than a cheaper restaurant. There were plenty of other people eating there though, so may be we were just not used to such high costs for lunch! Staff were fantastic there though too! |
| Main advantages: The hotel was amazing on all points; the staff are so friendly and helpful, I cannot fault any of them. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at the Majestic Barriere and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat! |

| Main disadvantages: The staff was very friendly but it worth to check the bill as we got some minibar charges on our account which we did not use at all and at the same time they fotgot to charge us with the breakfast. The bill was fixed with no problems but the feeling telling on the receprion that I did not drink wisky was not very pleasent for me :) |
| Main advantages: The hotel location is great. No comments about the beach as we stayed off-season and the beach was closed. |
