Guest San Luis Obispo, USA - Individual tour

Main disadvantages: We thought there might be a little more quality of the breakfast for the 8.5e or $12us. Yogurt or fresh fruit or cheeses. The breakfast was really the only weak link to our stay.

Main advantages: Location and staff met our needs perfectly.

Main disadvantages: Leaving our room key at the front desk was an odd request for us, but when going for a morning run, it was a convienience not to have to carry that huge key with us. I don't know if it's a French thing, but in America, we would never do that.

Main advantages: The staff was very nice, especially Desi.

Main advantages: This hotel is in a great location, only about a 50metre walk from the Promendade Des Anglais. We stayed in a room with a terrace and it was lovely - very quiet. I think others have mentioned it, the beds are hard, however, everything else more than stacks up. Definitely recommend this hotel for one/two night stays.

Main disadvantages: sliding window was a little bit shaky. we missed some thin, white curtains (it was either uncovered window or thick drapes), since the room was in the corner with a block of flats and their balconies.

Main advantages: location is great, everything is within few steps away. quiet, pieceful nights. the room was impeccably clean.

Main advantages: amazing large balcony ( we had a terrace room ), very good service from staff, they even had a danish speaking receptionist , help for everything we asked about. We stayed 23-30 Aug, and in this period it was so good temperature at night , so it was very comfortable to sleep at the balcony at night. Very quiet at night , because it was a small good distance from promenade anglais , which could be noisy.

Main disadvantages: Our room had rather worn shag carpeting which detracted from the attractiveness of the room. (better if replaced by tile or wood floors). Hallways were in poor condition. Directions to finding the hotel were very poor. If the website could mention that it is right around the corner from the main tourist office, it would have saved us much frustration.

Main advantages: Very well located. Availability of parking (which is otherwise scarce in central Nice). Comfortable room. The small patio that came with the room was a nice amenity.

Main disadvantages: We had a fridge but did not have tea or coffee making facilities and since breakfast was an extra served in the foyer this would have been good. That said there was a very nice café just yards from the front door.

Main advantages: Very Smart Hotel in what must be the best possible tourist location in Nice. The staff were English speaking, very friendly and helpful. We had an most enjoyable stay.Our room was a good size and nicely furnished, effective quiet air-conditioning system with a small balcony to the front. The bathroom was clean with a good shower over the bath.Under ground car parking on site, very good.

Main disadvantages: The Air Conditioner was weak and didn't cool the room very well, since it was quite hot in Nice at the time.

Main advantages: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location was very convenient for the beach and many shops/restaurants.

Main disadvantages: Air conditioning problem causing severe noise on the 3rd floor disrupted our sleep and no one explained the situation to us until I asked on checking out. I was advised that the problem would be rectified within a fortnight.

Main advantages: Very convenient location near shops and sea. The fridge provided was greatly appreciated and allowed us to have the occasional lunch tme snack and cold drinks in the room.Most of the staff were very polite and helpful.
