Main advantages: This is a great hotel! Our room was spacious and lovely, the bathroom
huge and newly renovated. Everything is done to make the hotel eco-
friendly. The concierge could not have been more helpful and the
breakfasts were wonderful. We were there for 2 nights and we would stay
there again in a heartbeat.

Main disadvantages: Furniture was quite outdated and was coloured 'Ninja turtle green'. They only have French TV channels. The Wifi was quite slow and unreliable most of the time, failing to connect to sites on many occasions. The elevator is the smallest I've ever seen, with room for one person and one suitcase, and has an awkward automatic + manual door system. Forget requesting a late checkout, they will ask you vacate at noon on the dot and keep calling and knocking until you do.
Main advantages: Rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Wifi is not included, but is also fairly reasonably price (EUR 4 per 24hrs). For Paris, especially in this price range, the rooms (at least the one I was in) was very large, and had a decently sized bathroom with a tub (though it lacked a shower curtain).

Main advantages: Very helpful informative staff who advised us of train line works which would affect our planned train trip to CDG airport. Locked baggage room was useful. Good sized room for a family, large bathroom. Did not try breakfast. Across the road from metro which was convenient as it rained all weekend. Hotel was good value for money.

Main disadvantages: It is worth noting (as clearly stated on the hotel email) that you cannot check-in until after 1700 at weekends.
Main advantages: Convenient town centre location with parking. Great staff and breakfast.

Main advantages: The staff were extremely helpful and charming (although only spoke basicEnglish). For example, when our taxi didn't arrive, the owner himselftook us to our meeting place - free of charge! Appreciated the manylittle touches as well, such as daily weather reports posted at thefront desk. Breakfast was substantial and a good range.

Main disadvantages: No air conditioning which lead to some very uncomfortable nights in the heat. It is also next door to a bar and in the alleyway even low level noise still kept you awake until about 3am.
Main advantages: Very conveniently located near the Hotel de ville and a nice square with many cafés. Rooms were spacious and attractive.

Main advantages: It was difficult to find tucked away down an alley but the position was excellent right in the heart of the old city of Poitiers with lots of restaurants and shops and cultural activities nearby.

Main advantages: Very accommodating owner and staff.Good Continental breakfast to set you up for the day.Though central,the hotel/room was very quiet,only broken (pleasantly) by the church bells twice a day.Altogether,a positive French experience. For a real French lunch experience,we would recommend the restaurant Les Bons Enfants,off the Place de la Liberte,with its speciality fruit "crumbles"!

Main advantages: Clean, quiet, well located and well run 2 star hotel. Breakfasts excellent. We took a 3 person room for 2 of us - it overlooked a courtyard and attractive tiled roofs. bathroom very spacious.
