Main disadvantages: It would have been nice to have tea or coffee facilities in the room although there was a mini bar with water and juice etc. Apart from that I can't fault Hotel Du Cadran

Main advantages: Stayed for 3 nights in October 2011 with my sister. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet ! The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area with metro stop 5 minutes walk, very safe area. Just next to the hotel is Rue Cler which has many bars and resteraunts, we ate here on two evenings, not expensive and good value. One evening we ate at a Chinese on Rue Bosquet, which was very nice. We ate breakfast at the hotel as although it ws 16 euros we thought it was good value for money with excellent coffee and very convenient. There is a chocolate counter in the reception area and you have to walk past it every day. When we left we were asked to chose some as a souviner which we ate on the Eurostar on our return trip, a little last tast of Paris. Ummm delicieux !!

Main advantages: The location was excellent. Right amongst the locals with the buzz of a Left Bank neighbourhood. The lovely food shops, cafes and general experience of being where people live not a touristy trap.

Main disadvantages: The breakfast range of cheeses and cold meets could be expanded on.

Main advantages: The location in Paris is excellent, easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and other major sites, as well as less than a 10 minute walk to the metro. Plus local restaurants are fabulous!

Main advantages: Location is great, easy walk to Metro and dining, etc. Our room was well appointed and the coffee was good - something not so common in most hotels. Although the room was small, it was very comfortable with even a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower out of our window.

Main disadvantages: The room was quite small. There was a distinct lack of available staff in the hotel.

Main advantages: The location was excellent; we could glimpse the Eiffel tower from our room! The area is very safe and there are numerout cafes & restaurants next to the hotel.

Main disadvantages: Advertised Free Wi-Fi Internet connection did not work during the whole time we were there which we found very unsatisfactory. They said my internet connection (Canadian laptop) was probably not compatible but I cannot think this possible. Also, strength of their service was always very weak (2 of 5 bars).

Main advantages: Location in Paris was very good. The accommodation suited us very well albeit small/tight. Bed was very comfortable.

Main disadvantages: We brought electronics from North America and would require an adapter to the electrictiy outlet. The ones we got from the hotel was broken and they didn't have another one, so we ended up having to buy one ourselves for Euro 10 dollar.

Main advantages: I really like the location. The Rue Cler at the corner is an interesting street with gourmet food stores, fresh fruits and produce, chocolate shop, pastry shops and restaurants. The hotel is just a short walk to the metro and extremely convenient.

Main disadvantages: We would have to say that the room (superior) in which we stayed in was a bit to small for the king size bed in it, and the bathroom could be a bit more spacious.

Main advantages: Everything about our stay at hotel du Cadran was more than satisfying. We liked the location of the hotel the best, it`s design and free WI-FI in the room.
