| Main disadvantages: The room was a bit small. For breakfast we would like to have more
"green" like tomatoes, cucumber and pepper. It was only wheatrolls, and
we prefer more musli, not just corn flakes and choco-pops.
We recommend a curtain in front of the bathtub/shower. The floor was always very wet after showering. |

| Main advantages: Flash deal got us a good price on a classy hotel which otherwise would
have been out of our price range as backpackers. Excellent location to
shopping, beach, train station and close enough to sights (although we
were there on a Monday and most museums closed). Breakfast was tops, guy
at reception even opened our bottle of red when we lost ours. |

| Main disadvantages: I would have liked a kettle in my room.I like a morning caffeine fix before I face the world, and I am too grumpy in the morning, particularly as a lone guest, to make small talk with fellow guests in the dining room in the morning.I'm not keen on "continental" breakfast in any case, so I gave the dining room a miss in the morning, preferring to head, late morning after a suitably decadent lie in, to the nearby "le Circuit" cafe in the Place Saetone for a Croque Monsieur and a large Ricard.The other thing, just a minor point, is that in the hotel guide, there is a list of international dialling codes, which for some reason, probably unitentional, omits the UK.These two observations are minor points however, meant in a spirit of constructive criticism,and I must reiterate that the Hotel Boreal is a great place to stay. |
| Main advantages: This is the third time I've stayed in Nice.I went on my own, because me and the missus couldn't get the same week off as annual leave in autumn, so I had a short midweek break on my own, knowing that there is plenty to do and see in Nice.I hate being the archetypal Brit abroad, so I always try to speak some of the native language, but I'm not very good.I was impressed that the staff patiently listened to my tortured French, and would reply in French, but didn't do that usual thing of talking in English back to me that I have found in a lot of European destinations when they get exasperated with my attempts.The hotel is small, friendly, and in a brilliant location, near plenty of shops, and a ten minute walk from the beach.My room was cleaned every day.The hotel arranged for my taxi to take me back to the airport, which arrived promptly on time.I'd stay there again.Thank you Hotel Boreal! |

| Main advantages: Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Nice .Convenient to
shops and cafes Ten minutes walk one way to Old Town and ten minutes the
other way to train station and the airport bus .Staff very helpful and
with excellent English.Hotel not luxurious but well priced and clean.
Adequate for anyone like me who spends all their time exploring and only
returns to change clothes or sleep.Beds very comfortable and would
definately stay again |

| Main advantages: The location is excellent only five minutes away from Massena Place and Flower Market. The breakfast is satisfactory. The rooms have enough space to locate your luggages and clothes. The staff is very helpful and kind. |

| Main disadvantages: Didn't take the breakfast as I just want coffee in the morning. I do think that 9€ for a self-service breakfast is too much though. You can be served a breakfast in any French cafe for around 6 or 7€. |
| Main advantages: Easy walking distance from the station and very central for restaurants etc. It was easy to find the beach and the old town. We went in November so got an incredibly good deal but I don't think I'd say the value for money was so good if we'd paid full price. |

| Main advantages: The location in relation to the train station was great and the room was very spacious. Although there was lots going on outside, in the way of night-life, the windows were thick enough that you weren´t kept awake during the night. |

| Main disadvantages: The shower facility was poor no actual shower just a hand piece in the half bath with no curtain or side around the bath to prevent water splashing . No tea making facility in the room. |

| Main disadvantages: Breakfast was an additional 9 euro per person. It is a very nice breakfast which to us was worth it as my husband likes to refill his coffee multiple times and you don't get that in a cafe. The one big downfall of this hotel was that we could hear the people above us walking around, especially at 2AM in the morning when they woke us up. Also, to take stand up shower, you have to hold the shower head in your hand to get your head wet - european thing. |

| Main disadvantages: We were given the smallest room (according to emergency plan) on the lowest floor where we could hear toilets being flushed in rooms above (unpleasant at night). The aircon didn't work and the window was locked. Breakfast was a bit pricy but there are two boulangeries just metres away. |
| Main advantages: Staff are very friendly, rooms were clean, location of hotel is good for train station (10 mins walk), beach (15 mins walk) and old town (15 mins walk) and tram/bus (2 mins walk). |

| Main advantages: It's a few steps away from the main tram line stop and Nice Etoile shopping mall, less than 10 minutes walk to Place Massena. Despite its location close to the main boulevard, it is fairly quiet. |
