Main disadvantages: Breakfast quite poor for a 4-star hotel and staff did not automatically
refill empty containers, piles of plates etc. Equipment in the fitness
room was broken. Sliding door to the bathroom very noisy in the middle
of the night.
Main advantages: Good location near the beach and the shops. Modern decor. Nice swimming
pool and bar area. Our room had a well-equipped kitchen area.

Main disadvantages: The wifi signal is weak at first floor although it is still working.
Main advantages: The location of the hotel is perfect for beach, train station and the
shopping centre ad well. The size of the room and the mini kitchen is
perfect for a family stay here for a week.

Main disadvantages: Since Nice has such a beautiful beach I would rather stay in a hotel with a sea view - but then there is a considerable difference in price. If the view is not important, Goldstar Resort & Suites is a very good choice in Nice.
Main advantages: Cleanlines, roof top pool, modern furniture, good service, good value (prices in November are low comparing to high season), close proximity of shops and old city - all within walking distance. Private garage is convenient, but not for big cars (and it is rather expensive).

Main advantages: the hotel was great, nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. It was very close to the beach, many local restaurants, a very nice central area! We did think that the charge for parking, when we are already guests in the hotel, was a bit steep!

tea), as an espresso demi-tasse is a little small for tea making. Also a
cafetiere would be nice, and a tea pot.

Main disadvantages: Minimal maid services and no cleaning supplies for the kitchen made it hard to keep clean. No way to lock your self in. Also lots of the reviews said they were suites but ours room did not have a separate sitting area.
Main advantages: Staff was helpful. Our son got really sick and they helped us find a local hospital for kids. The kitchent was very handy but a bit under stocked for our needs as a family.

Main disadvantages: the wi-fi is free but only accessable one you are in the lobby area of the hotel, it is not accessible in the suits/rooms.
Main advantages: this hotel was a real surprise and treat. the suit was really spacious and well equiped. it was also very good value for money. the swimming pool and relaxation area on the top floor was very nice. the location of the hotel was excellent and made getting around the city very easy. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one who is visiting nice.

Main disadvantages: the wi-fi connection was not very strong and reliable on our floor.
Main advantages: I liked the set up of the rooms - sort of "zen" feng shui effect. Very spacious, clean and homely. I also like the pool and terrace on the roof top. I also like the proximity of the hotel to the Promenade de Anglais and the shopping area.

Main disadvantages: THe price which they would have charged for a continental breakfast (E15 per person per night), or a buffet breakfast (E20 per person per night) was far too expensive. Nice is not cheap but expecting guests (2 adults and a 12 year old) to pay E180 for three nights was ridiculous. It was far easier to pick up something from the local bakers and prepare it ourselves.
Main advantages: The location was close to the shops and the beach. The use of the roof and sunbeds was convenient. The kitchenette area was also very helpful

Main advantages: The hotel turned out to be a great place. I didn't realise that every room is in fact a suite - that is a full apartment with kitchenette, livingroom/studio, large bathroom and a very large bedroom. It is of great value for money, centrally located and gives you access to the Internet (wireles) for free.

Main advantages: Well equipped hotel room and free wifi in the room helps a lot. We have to check our tour and hotel bookings and this helps. We love the bed. It is so comfy and feels new. Main advantages: In September my wife and I got it right per chance with the hotel in Nice for 3 weeks. Earlier we had stayed at hotels in Promenade des Anglais. At the Goldstar it is better. It is only a 5 minutes walk to the beach, but the rooms are far more spacious and comfortable. Therre's even a built-in kitchen like in apartments. If the weather gets worse, there's a lovely swimming-pool and a fitness hall in the 7th floor. In the morning you get a wonderful breakfast. And, the most important, a highly professional and friendly staff. I'm emphasizing: we've got it right! Ukraine, Kharkiv
