Main advantages: Reception staff were all most courteous and helpful. The room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean. We booked a double bed, but the room had two singles: a fairly common occurrence in European hotels. The room was located at the rear of the building and very quiet, with wooden shutters to close at night. Bed covers were fairly old, and pillows were a bit thin, but the furnishings were all very clean, simple and tasteful. The bathroom was quite modern, and the shower was great. The Best Western Roosevelt Nice had everything that we needed. (We did not eat there, so cannot comment on the breakfasts).

Main advantages: The location was reasonably handy to dining and Massena Square, the lakeside promenade and the old town of Nice. Air conditioning was either turned off or preset to a temperature higher than was comfortable to me during the day for our stay the second week in September. Breakfast was nice although pricey. Probably would not be my first choice for a return trip but no major problems. Elevator was out of service one morning but fixed by our return in the afternoon. We were glad it was not the morning we were checking out.

Main advantages: We had a really nice stay at the Roosevelt in Nice. Good location, minutes to the old town and bus lines. Very clean. Staff was courteous and professional and helped us find our way around town. Room was very comfortable. Bathrooms were up to date and clean. We would stay here again.

Main advantages: I selected "other" in answer to the main reason for choosing this hotel since I didn't have an option "all the above". The rate was excellent for this time of year, location absolutely perfect- right next to the beach but in the center of town. The facilities in the hotel were all spot on- just as was described by other guests that stayed there before. overall we had a marvelous time!

Main disadvantages: Only minor complaint was the small lift, but this was not really an issue.

Main advantages: The Roosevelt Hotel was very centrally situated, only 10 mins from the promenade and sea front and 10 mins from the train station. We booked a triple room which was of reasonable size for 3 adults, was very clean, and electrics, shower etc all worked properly. It had an LCD TV, a daily maid service, and hotel reception staff were always pleasant and helpful. Provision of a safe and a small fridge in the room at no extra cost was very useful. I would readily stay at this hotel again.
