Main disadvantages: Although I was on fifth floor the narrow road that is a one way road and seems very quite can become a little noisy at times. No gym or swimming pool. Location was a bit far out but reachable on the metro. Overall I wouldnt allow these things to stop me staying here again.

Main advantages: The welcoming of the staff at check inn was amazing, very warm and smiles all around. Makes a big difference in France. The check in lady in particular Florentine showed me 2 different rooms and gave me an option and was very clear on the different rates. My rooms was stocked daily with tea coffee hot chocolate and mineral water all complimentary. The reception also had complimentary fruit tea and coffee and at times cakes. Internet is very good. I feel so relaxed and homely that instead of moving hotel for the following week I decided to extend my stay. Will recommend this place.

Carla , - Rest with friends

Main disadvantages: Would have liked to have more than one english speaking channel on the tv. My companion is 6'3" so the bed was a bit small for both of us. We just had to snuggle closer so maybe it wasn't so bad, at least from my point of view.

Main advantages: The staff!!!!!! They were so helpful and friendly. We lost hot water one morning and they let us use a different room just to shower and get ready for the day while ours got fixed. Loved the location with easy access to the metro, good neighborhood restaurants, and a grocery store. We enjoyed have a refrigerator in the room and free internet service without having to have our own computer. I am not a coffee drinker and I appreciated that they provided hot chocolate as an alternative in the room.

Main advantages: The Hotel was located in a nice area with good public transport & places to eat. The staff were all charming and very helpful. Chosing a Hotel in any city can be a bit of a lucky dip & we pulled the wining ticket! Would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Main advantages: The staff were friendly and helpful for example my children had locked themselves into their room from the inside and I needed to wake them up without waking other residents - the receptionist rang the room and followed up to check that all was well. The staff were also very accomodating - we ask whether we could leave our luggage in one of our rooms until 1pm instead of 12 midday so that we could visit some sites - this was agreed and we returned at 12.45 hrs.

Main disadvantages: Upon booking my stay at best western online. I selected 4 stars and the hotel showed up as one of them. The price was great. When arriving at the hotel I noticed it was a 3 star hotel. We left our bags in the hotel and came back at about 4pm to find we still had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be ready. Check in was clearly stated as 2pm. We were allocated room no 2, not a nice room as it is right by the storage room and all the noise comes right through. As soon as you close the door the wifi signal is gone and there are no windows in the room nor a safe to lock away valuables.

Main advantages: The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the complimentary coffee and drinks in the waiting lounge.

Main disadvantages: There was no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, only shower/hair gel. Although reasonably convenient for getting to the tourist areas, the area around the hotel is not too touristy and therefore lots of shops and cafes were closed for the summer and fewer people spoke english. Also the breakfast was 12 euros a head which we thought was unecessarily expensive, although looking at the prices from the cafes around the city, this seems the norm for Paris. We went instead and found pastries from the supermarket or Patisseries when we came across them.

Main advantages: Although not directly in the very centre of Paris, this hotel is two seconds from a metro station and a short walk into the centre. Several sights could be seen by walking if you so wished. The cleaners came every day and made the bed and restocked the room with bottles of water and fresh towels and anything else you could possibly need.
