Main disadvantages: The bathroom was spacious, but the water temperature was not stable.
Showering could be very difficult because 1) there was no shower
curtain so water splashed everywhere and 2) the water would go cold
then scalding hot then back down to cold in a matter of minutes.
Very difficult to shower and at after the 4th day, it was just
downright annoying.
Main advantages: Good location near tons of restaurants. Close to two different metro
lines, which is helpful for getting around town. Friendly staff,
decent breakfast and very good wifi - useful for looking up
information on museums etc. Hotel room was clean and decently sized
for European hotels.

Main disadvantages: The name of the hotel changed after I made the reservation from Best
Western to Quality Hotels. It would have been nice to get some
ingormation about it beforehand.
Main advantages: An excellent location with a walking distance to many of the sightsees
(ie. Louvre, Opera, Seine, sime churces).There are very good and
reasonable prised restaurants in the neighnourhood. It is a very nice &
cosy hotel, our room was clean and the staff very helpful. Highly
recommended by us!

Main advantages: Location was excellent, easy to Metro & city trip. Room was clean &
comfortable though a bit tiny. Staff were nice and helpful. We had moved
to this hotel from other closeby hotel the second day of our stay in
Paris and found this one is much better and satisfactory.

Main advantages: I like hotel staff there, everybody was very nice and always tried to
help you if you need. The room was cleaned every day, and it was nice
designed. I like that there is also a kettle, but no fridge. The
breakfast was good, it was possible to find something to eat even in the
end of breakfast time. Also the staff was friendly to give you something
that is already finished.

Main disadvantages: Coming from a different time zone it was hard the first day to meet the time for the breakfast. Closing the room at 10.00 seems a bit early.
Main advantages: We think this was a hotel which offered excellent services. Paris was hot on arrival, there was an issue with airconditioning, and we were upgraded to another Best Western around the corner for one night. The extra cost of 100 euros was picked up by the Axel Opera. On return the next day my daughter and I could compare and decided that Axel Opera was excellent value for money. We'd rather spend the extra 100 euros per day on shopping etc. Friendly, helpful staff and the location was just perfect for wanderings around major tourist attractions like Monmartre, Louvre and Notre Dame. The Metro is close, room very clean and the beds were comfortable. We'll come again when we want to visit Paris!

Main disadvantages: It has seven floors and a three person lift. We were on the seventh floor.
Main advantages: Excellent breakfast. Staff courteous and helpful. A reasonable packed lunch provided as advertised. Good location. Reasonable walking distance to centre. Metro station nearby for longer journeys.

Main disadvantages: Hotel stuff at the reception could be more friendly. We had a doubleroom but a cleaner took one towel away every day so we had to ask for itevery day we came back to the hotel. Elevator - the tiniest we've everseen but ok if you don't have a huge luggage and you can always askhotel staff for help.
Main advantages: Good value for money. Good continental breakfast and free packed lunch(sandwiches, crisps, fruit and water). Close to the city center - Louvre15 min walking.

Main advantages: Staff were very helpful and accomodating. I had requested a twin room as I was travelling with my 10 year old daughter and when we arrived they didn't have a twin room ready but instead of keeping us waiting they gave us a room with a double and twin beds with a small terrace which was very nice. A welcome drink, breakfast and a packed lunch were included. Hotel is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere and is situated within easy reach of the main attractions.

Main disadvantages: One of the women in the reception was rude. But other than that the staff was very polite and helpful (and they loved our daughter!).
Main advantages: We travelled to the Hotel Axel Opera in the start of december, and we brought with us our 8 months old baby. We stayed in a Superior double room. The room was big and clean, and they had provided a little bed for our baby without us asking for it:) We had a TV and bathtub, and we got free bottles of water. The bed was huge, and we had a combined shower and bathtub. It was very good located in the middle of Paris, and we could walk to Montmartre (took us about 20 minutes) and we could just as easily walk to Les Halles and Pompidou. We didn't need to use the metro once. There were two convinient stores located right next to the hotel. We got breakfast included and it was very good! Free lunch box was a genius idea!

Main disadvantages: There can be unpleasant surprises: one night a man from another roomby mistake opened our door with his room key. Our friends one eveningcame to room to find there are no curtains on windows and pigamas arethrown on the floor. After complaint to reception a man came to hangback the curtains (same night), but it wasn't much pleasant to collectpigamas thrown on floor and wait till curtains are back (instead ofgoing to bed)
Main advantages: Hotel is well situated. Nice additional moments: lunch box, 1 hourinternet free, welcome bottle of wine. Small but nice rooms, clean andtidy. Good to have tea-pot and iron in the room.
