| Main advantages: I had ever stayed at Bayard before at another room facing the Place
Bellecour . It was in classic furnishing and with excellent view , but
the room was too old . This time I stayed at a room in modern furnishing
, it was so wonderful more than a 3-star hotel I expected . Location ,
staffs and cleanliness are all excellent . Will sure to stay again . |

| Main advantages: Very good location, near all the shops and restaurants, very central,
near a lovely square Bellecour, the hotel had a very good private car
park near the hotel, there was also a space for unloading the luggage
before moving the car to the car park. Rooms were light and airy and a
good size with ensuite facilities. |

| Main advantages: This is not a luxurious hotel. It is a good hotel,properly priced in perfect location,5 minutes walk from rue de marrioners,which is full of restaurents, and the bus for tour if the cityis outside the door and its 10 minutes walk to where you can get a boat trip. |

| Main disadvantages: I don't know why, but when I booked the room they withdrew money for one night from my credit card, but in the hotel I had to pay the whole sum for my stay. I was told, that my money will come back in a few days, but they didn't yet. Hope, everything will be alright. |
| Main advantages: Room looked wonderful, was very clean and well designed! It had all what we needed: big bed, clean restroom, fan etc. Stuff on the reception was very helpful and nice. |

| Main disadvantages: The only weaknesses that I found were that, on my arrival, the room was not ready until 2 p.m. and the fact that the shower cabin did not have a door, which made some water splashing on the bathroom floor. Also, if you have heavy luggage, you should consider the fact that the hotel does not have any lift. |
| Main advantages: I chose one of the charming rooms. Despite its very central location, the hotel is amazingly quiet. The reception staff is very nice and the cleaning personnel showed a lot of discretion. Although I left the room very late on my first day, they did not disturb me and cleaned the room after I left. The room looked like a small apartment and the view on Place de Bellecour was great. A charming room, indeed! Given its excellent location, it is very close to the main tourist attractions and it is also perfect for shopping. The metro station is also just across the street. All in all, very good value for money! |

| Main advantages: We were passing through Lyon en route to the south of France so wanted somewhere central but relatively cheap for the night. Very good location for shops, old town, etc. and has public car park close by. The room we stayed in (No.3) was small, clean and adequate for our purposes. For longer stays, I would recommend opting for a larger room. Since this was our first stay in Lyon it's difficult to assess 'value for money' but I did do a lot of scouting around the internet and compared to other hotels in this location, it seems pretty good. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. |

| Main advantages: We stayed in the Bellecour Deluxe Double Room and it was romantic and amazing. The room is much better in real life then in the only picture you can see on the site. The staff was very nice and the location was great. I could see the church on the mountain from my room |

| Main disadvantages: The room I had (Room 6) was very small and had a view to the back courtyard. It was also very stuffy and even although I had the fan on, still awoke with a sore head every morning. |

| Main advantages: This is a quirky little hotel with old style furnishings that gives a bit of character. It is in a perfect location for a city trip to Lyon as all the main site areas & restaurants are within walking distance (the metro is also outside the front door!). We had a large room over looking Place Bellecour which was clean & comfortable. We did not opt for the in room breakfast due to its convienient location (And a continental breakfast was €9 extra). Would definately recommend this hotel - Dont be put off by two stars!! |

The hotel is next to the largest square in the city and minutes from the Metro, shops, and restaurants. Because the rooms open onto a courtyard, they are very quiet -- you cannot hear any city noise. |
