| Main disadvantages: Hotel manager too talkative. Room on busy street with lots of bars and
noisy people (which is natural for the 26th of december in Spain). Also,
near glass containers used in the middle of the night and one bar
discharging empty beer barrels on the pavement. |

| Main advantages: The manager Roberto speaks excellent English and welcomed us to the
hotel. He gave us a complete run down on what was happening in
Valladolid while we were staying recommending places for tapas and
things to see, he was even good enough to lend us a travel adaptor as it
was a Sunday when we arrived an we wouldn't be able to buy one. We were
given a twin room as the as he told us the doubles were 'quite small';
all I can say is that the twin room was enormous! And very nice too. The
location is excellent. |

| Main disadvantages: Unfriendly and unhelpful staff in the restaurant at dinner. Apart from us there were two large parties to be served and it was made obvious that we were an unwanted distraction, even though we were residents. We left without ordering and ate at a friendly restaurant bar on a corner directly opposite the hotel's front door. |

| Main advantages: The location of this hotel could not be faulted. Just yards away from the magnificent Plaza Mayor and within walking distance of all the key sites of interest. Great restaurants nearby. Comfortable hotel with a lovely ambience. The staff are pleasant and helpful with the exception of the guy who serves breakfast. He was as miserable as sin!I would thoroughly recommend staying at Hotel Zenit Imperial. |

| Main disadvantages: Satellite TV was almost impossible to watch almost each of the 4 days that we stayed: signal had periodic interruptions. |
| Main advantages: We liked very much the location (so close in Plaza mayor and all the nice restaurants) and the friendly welcome by the hotel owner, Roberto, who explained to us everything about the sights and the restaurants of the town. I am so sad that we did not visit the paella restaurant that Roberto suggested, but we'll definitely do that the next time! Hotel was nice and clean and I especially liked the atmosphere of city at night (many people at the streets, bars and restaurants until late at night). Not all hotel personnel can speak English well, but this is not a big deal: we got used to this at Valladolid and I it's good that I started practicing my spanish! |

| Main advantages: The Zenit Imperial was a very comfortable hotel in a terrific location just off the Plaza Mayor and therefore a short stroll to most of the nightlife in Valladolid. My room was clean and tidy and spacious. Although i didn't spend much time in the hotel I did notice that in the evening the hotel bar had a pleasant and inviting ambience. |

| Main disadvantages: Unfriendly and incompetent receptionists (they didn't know what was the service charge for international calls and laundry in their own hotel...). We decided to have breakfat around 10am, but the staff were lazy refilling the food and there wasn't much left for us to eat (so it is a waste of money paying for this service)...Internet wi-fi was not free as in most three stars hotels and wifi did not reach the 2nd floor bedroom we stayed in (more waste of money). Otherwise hotel is good but the staff are a real shame. |
