| Main disadvantages: I thought the hotel was great. Some staff members were not too friendly
nor service-oriented. |
| Main advantages: Its location - historic and religious sites all within walking distance.
Great choice of restaurants to eat in. The room - junior suite - was
very comfortable. |

| Main disadvantages: The night life is loud and late and it is amplified by the narrow
streets. The double glazing on the rooms was excellent but once closed
you are reliant on the air con for fresh air |
| Main advantages: Access to hotel is via the big bull fountain on Ave del Cid Campeador -
go to falling pillar and speak on call system (as pedestrianised no
satnav). Central pedestrian area was great for strolling. Loved the
night life and the Cathedral - one of the best I've seen anywhere. Good
bars and restaurants (look for Favorit in next street and the bar on the
corner nearest the Hotel )- great. Pichos (tapas) great. Impressed with
the town and hotel handy to nip back for a siesta if needed. |

| Main advantages: The hotel is walking distance from all the historic sites and the view from the room towards the mountains was great. Pamplona is a very friendly town and the hotel staff was veru helpfull. If you are driving the parking on premises is a plus. |

| Main advantages: I was touring Spain on a motorcycle and staying in Burgos for one night.
The hotel was easy to get to with my Sat Nav and was conveniently
located in the city centre. The staff spoke English and were friendly
and helpful. The room was comfortable and had a good shower; there was
no view but I didn't need one. There was secure parking for my
motorcycle in a garage next to the hotel entrance. Breakfast was
comprehensive and reasonably priced for what you could have. All in all
it satisfied all of my requirements |

| Main advantages: The hotel, whilst not the easist to find, is located within the heart of
the old city and is within easy walking distance to all of the
attractions and places of historic interest that this beautiful city has
to offer. The hotel is an oasis of quiet and calm and equipped to a high
standard in all respects. |

| Main disadvantages: We found the bolster (sausage style pillow) very uncomfortable and would
ask that they use 'normal' pillows instead as it totally wrecked our
first night's sleep there. |
| Main advantages: The location is excellent and it has safe underground parking on site.
The staff were very pleasant and knowledgable about the city. We had a
junior suite and it gave a lot of space to move around and also the
separate sitting room/office area was fantastic. It is excellent value
for money. |

| Main disadvantages: I had booked a double room, and we were given a twin. Acess by car - if you do not know the city - is very tricky as you enter pedestrianised areas. Clear instructions posted on the hotels website would help. When we left the receptionist gave us excellent instructions, and a map, which got us out of Burgos very easily. |
| Main advantages: very central, good bathroom, late check out time |

| Main disadvantages: The only thing not so great was the other units that have the stair case or laminate wood floors next to me or above was very noisy. So some people got in very late and woke me up a couple of times. |
| Main advantages: The room they offered me was a 2 level double It was nicely decorated and it had eveything I needed. The floors were wood laminate as you enter the entertainment room (has sofa, chairs, desk, tv and closet) which was very nice. Then you go up the stairs to go to the second level which are quite nice. Other than this, it was a great hotel. The customer service was excellent. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful with sorting my transportation out for the following day as well as showing me how to get around the city. |

| Main disadvantages: As others have said, it is not easy to find. The best thing to do is park outside the pedestrian area and then walk to the hotel. |
| Main advantages: Superb hotel for visiting the city. Very quiet, in spite of being so central. Restaurant very good and the set menu good value for money. |

| Main disadvantages: Not being able to reserve car parking at hotel and that restaurant not open Sunday evening. Junior suite very stylish but not necessarily practical. |
| Main advantages: It's a comfortable hotel and this is the second time I've stayed there. The secure underground car park is an attraction, but it's disappointing that a space cannot be reserved. The city centre location is very good but it's not an easy hotel to find, the first time! Will probably stay again when next in Burgos. |

| Main disadvantages: Bathroom, although very stylishly done, was a little cramped. Separate lounge area very nice but didn't really use it so would have preferred that space be given over to larger bathroom/bedroom area. Even with sat nav. not easy to find and you need to have a prior agreement with hotel to let down road bollard so that you can access their car park. (There is a speaker phone so you might be able to announce yourself and they would let you in.) We abandoned car and found hotel on foot and then arranged to get car into car park. Staff were very helpful on that front. |
| Main advantages: The location of the hotel was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dining area excellent. |

| Main disadvantages: It would have been helpful to have an E-Mail map sent with the reservation confirmation showing the location and explaining how to drive up to the hotel. Maybe I missed this - but the Satellite Navigation did not get me to the hotel first time. |
| Main advantages: The car parking was safe and secure. We had not visited Burgos before and the staff were very helpful in recommending where we should go. |

| Main advantages: The Velada Burgos is a neat little boutique 4 star hotel with very reasonable rates in an excellent location in the old town. It's dead quite--a wedding party took place one floor below us on Saturday night, and didn't disturb us at all. And the staff were extra helpful--the woman at the desk on our late arrival ordered room service for us in Spanish, and the woman on the second night explained why everybody in town was in costume, with parades everywhere, and told us there would be fireworks that night, and where we could best view them. |

| Main disadvantages: Car parking at the hotel is not the best and will only take small to medium size cars, this in on two floors below the hotel, parking in Burgos as a whole is very poor |
| Main advantages: The hotel in in a suberb location in the old town, surrounded by tapas bars and shops and five minutes walk from the cathedral, the rooms are a bit on the quirky side, walk into the viving room with a settee and chair, TV and walk in shower, upstairs is the bedroom with queen bed and bathroom, wardrobes on both floors, The restaurant was 1st class, we had the fixed menu at euro 42, for five courses and coffee, we would stay at this hotel again when in burgos |
