Main disadvantages: Views from rooms not too good- even sea view is not quite a sea view with office block in the way and the price for these rooms was extortionate. Rooms with pool view faced a very large office block Lovely area around pool was not serviced even though weather was lovely- thats a pity

Main advantages: Location- near Olympic Port and beaches- nice walks along beach and Olympic Port has variety of cafes, restaurants facing the sea Rooms comfortable and spacious with balcony

Main disadvantages: Gym was a disgrace for a 5* hotel - 2 bikes, 1 treadmill, 1 cross trainer, a chest press, free weights up to 10kg only, and 2 benches in a teeny-tiny room. Treadmill out of order for the whole duration of our stay. Bikes were ergonomically the worst I've ever used. Cross trainer had only manual adjustment for level - ancient technology! Our friends complained after we had gone and were promptly given free passes to the local 'Maritim' gym by Reception, so I guess people not being happy must be common. Also, Housekeeping threw away an attachment to my electric shaver whilst cleaning the room, and so I'll now have to buy another one. Annoying.

Main advantages: Close proximity to beach. Bar and pool area was pleasant place to hang around for a night cap. Reception and porterage staff very helpful. Taxis always available.

Main advantages: Loved it, they were vey nice and helpful. Beautiful hotel and pool, great food. The hostess Sandra was so nice and very helpful. Also, the woman at the front desk was so nice, spoke great english and could not do enough for us. I think her name was Marie.

Main disadvantages: Went to a very bad start. We arrive in at 9am they took are luggage and where helpfull on how to get places. We arrived back at 1.30 and waited until 2 to check in. Only to be told the room was not ready. Waited about and went back then was given a room which was the wrong room and we had to be moved. Not all the staff was pleasent! We stayed in a 4* hotel in centre the week before it was alot better!!!Bed was hard. Long walk to anything!

Main advantages: Beside beach. Very modern. Loved the pool.

Main disadvantages: Nothing it was great.Loved the hotel and everything to do with it . Very unhappy with Barcelona as we were stopped twice by fake police officers wanting to see our passports and then our money, happened in Urquinaona and at Ciutadella . At Urquinaona one of the guys produced a gun . That whole experience was awful and as we are in our 60's its very that bad people are impersonating police officers in Barcelona . be very careful and get away form from these people as quickly as possible , make a racket get noticed and flee. . No police office will ask you for your passport or to see your money in Spain. We had heard on rte Radio that this was happening , it is , so be prepared

Main advantages: Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are adequate , clean and confortable. Food menu was a bit expensive and limited.

Main disadvantages: The internet was very poor... If somebody need the internet during the stay, forget this hotel. That killed me. I could not open any website at first.. So I could not work..

Main advantages: It has a very good location, with nice swimming pools and beach view. The staff was kind. The hotel is extremely close to the Shoko and Catwalk which are very good places to have a party.

Mark , - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: The buffet breakfast at €25 is wickedly expensive and the continental option outside the buffet is not exactly cheap but more bearable at €12. I would be fantastic to have the roof-top swimming pool open earlier than 9.00am. 8.00am would be ideal for us early risers.

Main advantages: Great large beds if you choose King size room and great to have the swimming pool open even in November! Staff are helpful and friendly and you cannot fault the room.
