Main disadvantages: Staff marked down as ' fair ' because there were not enough front of house people to help with baggage etc. This may be because the hotel was quiet and it was a public holiday.

Main advantages: Excellent location, integral secure car park. Very good breakfast.

Main disadvantages: Lack of activity in the restaurant in the evening of our stay and the fact that the parking at the hotel had to paid for despite a large underground car park.

Main advantages: Position for access to Burgos city centre and other sites and the helpfulness of the staff. Wifi in the lobby as well.

Main disadvantages: The worst that I can say is that the lighting in the room was very poor-- too dark. It made a beautifully decorated room quite gloomy. Forget reading, which is what you do because the only English on the tv is msnbc or cnn and after awhile... It was Sunday when we stayed there and while there was some snacks available at the bar, eating in the lobby is less than desirable. Wish there was regular food service, but we found an unbelievable restaurant [La Landa] instead so it worked out.

Main advantages: The hotel invested a lot by buying a former chuch/convent and reinventing it as an ultra-modern facility. It looks great, very chic, and is perfectly located across from the main entrance to the "old city" of Burgos. The breakfast was very good altho as I recall, the Amer coffee was pretty murky stuff.

Main advantages: the location is wonderful for touring-close to all the interesting places.the room is comfortable and cleean.the staff vey helpful and kind.breakfast was very good.

Main disadvantages: One strange thing - we fancied cocktails before dinner. They were listed at the bar - nothing complicated, a whisey sour and a bloody Mary, but barmaid said she didn't know how to make any cocktails. We settled for glasses of sherry.

Main advantages: Delightful hotel in excellent location for visit to historic city.Indeed historic hotel with car park at very reasonable price.

Main disadvantages: most staff does not speak any other language than Spanish; initially the person in charge at the reception desk gave us a lousy inferior room: we complained and suddenly a more appropriate room became forthwith available

Main advantages: location, private underground parking, spacious quiet room, good breakfast, restaurant. Our waiter, Luis, at the restaurant was very efficient, friendly and was doing his best speaking English
