| Main advantages: Situated a just few metres from the Cathedral and a two minute walk to
all parts of the old town we found this hotel to be perfect in every
way. Very clean and very warm with a good shower room and lashings of
hot water. Breakfast was good and the attendant was very helpful. Our
bedroom window overlooked the Cathedral which was very romantic. |

| Main advantages: Perfect value and unbeatable location. Frankly, one should not have to pay a lot for comfort. This hotel is the perfect example of how it is perfectly possible to get comfort, good service, friendly staff, best location, spacious and clean rooms, complete breakfast, at a reasonable price. We even had the view on the Cathedral from our room. It is a hotel with a lot of charm. We parked our car right next to the hotel and did not use it at all. Everything is walking distance, the Cathedral, the Castle, The Museum of Human Evolution..... I highly recommend this hotel if you go to Burgos. |

| Main disadvantages: It was a shame that there was no bar service at the hotel the night we
were there- the little bar area was so pleasant. However the nice lady
agreed to make us a cup of tea which we really appreciated. |
| Main advantages: It was dog-friendly, well signposted and easy to find, with secure
parking. Our room was warm and comfortable. The hotel was so central
that it was a delight to walk through the streets/see the
cathedral,museums of Burgos. The reception staff were very helpful. |

| Main disadvantages: Nothing negative as we only stayed 1night. Wifi didn't reach to our room but that's all! |
| Main advantages: The hotel was central with fantastic view of the cathedral so close that I glad they don't ring the bells anymore! Car park was close by so we didn't have to lug cases miles. All in all a fantastic hotel. |

| Main disadvantages: Some small rejuvenation can be needed in some room. |
| Main advantages: Fantastic location in front of the cathedral. Traditional, very
"spanish" decor. Wide rooms and bathrooms with woody furniture and all
comforts. Excellent restaurant with traditional plates and old Spain
environment. Private underground parking. The hotel is easy to reach by
car even if in the core of Burgos. |

| Main advantages: Located right next to the Cathedral square, the views from our room couldn't have been better - we looked straight out onto the front of the Cathderal.
The hotel was comfortable and charmingly decorated to create a 'historic feel' with its links to the Cities 'famous son'.
Not easy to access with a car but arrangements made by staff to transfer luggage and they realy couldn't have been more helpful.
A good breakfast in the beautiful dining room too, which alo overlooke the Cathedral. |

| Main advantages: The helpfulness of the staff, who kindly put on the fantastic buffet breakfast half an hour early because we had to leave the hotel at 7.30 a.m. Nothing was too much trouble and with the added bonus of a very comfortable room and a great location overlooking the cathedral our stay was perfect. |

| Main disadvantages: Irritating reception staff,but that was probably just me. She did everything to be helpful. and knew her stuff. |
| Main advantages: Room was facing the cathedral. You opened your window and there it was, right in front! Room was confortable,even luxurious, but without frills- but that was the idea, as formerly it was a convent. Good breakfast selection. Lovely free illustrated maps of the city from reception. |

| Main disadvantages: Getting to it is not easy and the underground car park has very tight corners. |
| Main advantages: Great quirky hotel. The decor was lovely especially in the restaurant. Staff were great. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of variety. The location could not be better opposite the cathedral.The restaurant was excellent if not cheap. |

| Main advantages: Luckily our room overlooked the cathedral so our view was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of dishes. Charming woman in charge of the breakfast room. Helpful reception staff. 10 minute walk to the bus station but there are steps up to the hotel. |

| Main advantages: To overlook the huge cathedral of Burgos and to watch the pilgrims walk past on the camino every morning, having their photos taken next to the pilgrim statue on the bench. Superb spot for seeing the city which is very attractive. Lots of architecture to view, good river walks and sunny plazas to relax and eat and drink in. Castle short but steep hike just above the hotel. |

| Main disadvantages: The hotel has two buildings and the internet service at the second building did not work at all. The location is very quiet but it is necessary to go up several stairways to get to the hotel. The stairs make it difficult to get to the hotel in case you have heavy luggage. |

| Main advantages: The location is excellent but quite difficult to get to with a car. The room we had was lovely, facing the cathedral but the aircon didn't work and when we asked at reception about it, nothing was done. Not very impressed. The breakfast was adequate but overpriced; nothing much was refilled and we had to ask for more tomatoes. The cooked food was inadequate and cold but the coffee was lovely. However, it was a nice hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend it. |

| Main disadvantages: apparently there were good directions to the hotel from one main direction but no directions if you approached it from the old city, especially as there was a complicated one-way system and road repairs. I think that the hotel should provide more information on their web site. |

| Main advantages: This is an excellent hotel with an outstanding restaurant. The staff is extremely helpful and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and have a fantastic view of the front of the cathedral directly across an attractive plaza. I could not think of a more perfect location for staying in Burgos. |
