Main disadvantages: The diving walls between rooms are very thin especially if you have adjoining rooms, you can actually hear and understand the talking of your neighbors. I would recommend this hotel, but just make sure you make clear you do not want an adjoining room. However this option might be great if travelling with small kids, but I guess only in that particular case.

Main advantages: Hotel Location is excellent a short walking distance from the subway station and very close walking distance to the famous La Rambla street and the marina. The hotel facility is very nice, the rooms comfortably sized plus they offer free high speed internet. Hotel staff was very helpful, professional and friendly.

Main disadvantages: Basic hotel- nothing to dislike really. It is not, however, what I would characterize as a charming boutique hotel. It is more of a clean, econo space.

Main advantages: Great central location to Placa de Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Good welcome pack with maps and a huge buffet breakfast.

Main disadvantages: The only issue that I would like to bring up is that check-in time is 12pm bur when we arrived in the morning we were told that the room would not br ready till about 2pm.It did not worry us too much as we went out sight seeing but it is something that the management should be aware of.

Main advantages: When we booked we liked the fact that it was close enough to las Ramblas and far enough so that it would not be too noisy and also our daughter who is studying in Barcelona was within walking distance from the hotel.We were very pleased with the location as it was off the main road and so it was quiet and close to everything that we needed to be.It was clean and comfortable and spacious.We would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends.

Main disadvantages: However, the internal walls are thin, so noisy neighbours can disturb your sleep. The noise is exacerbated by the lack of carpets in the rooms, which would absorb some sounds.

Main advantages: The hotel is on a quiet back street but very centrally located, 5 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya.

Main disadvantages: Compared with other hotels in Spain including Madrid, the accommodation was expensive, but maybe that was the Barcelona factor.

Main advantages: The cafe / bar attached to the hotel was very convenient and always staffed by friendly and helpful staff. Computer access was good. Location could not have been better.

Main advantages: Very good, could easily be a 4-star hotel. Compared to other 3 start hotel i have stayed in many cities of Europe i can say this was one of the best. Great location and very good breakfast. I would stay there again.
