| Main disadvantages: The room was very nice, but we had expected that the red level rooms had
a open view over the city, but that was not the case. A little bit
disapointing. |

| Main disadvantages: The central facilities E.G. lounge, dining room and bar were just about
adequate in terms of size. E.G. we had to queue for 5 mins for a table
at breakfast on the Sunday.
The cocktail bar was great and the quality very high...but so were the prices. Euro14 for a Mohito is too much. |
| Main advantages: Bedrooms were typical of a city for size and were in an excellent
condition. The whole property had the feel of being recently refurbished
and everything looked new.
All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful...some of the best staff I have come across.
The location is excellent. |

| Main advantages: Our room was on the Red Level which I highly recommend. After each day
of sightseeing my wife and I would go to the sitting room and toast the
day with Champagne. Breakfast was also served up there. Loved it.
Turndown service also came with little sweet surprises. Nice touch. |

| Main disadvantages: A very small thing I would suggest would be to offer a wider selection of DVD's.
I definitely think it would be good for the hotel if you changed the sign on the top of the hotel building. I think the sign really de-values the look of this lovely hotel & probably puts people of even thinking of staying there- it makes it look like a cheaper hotel than it actually is.
Overall a lovely experience but I have to say that the staff make this hotel! |
| Main advantages: The staff at 'Gran Melia Fenix' were so friendly & helpful. It was really refreshing to be served by such a nice group of people.
It was my boyfriends Birthday while we were there & the hotel were so kind to leave chocolate cake, fruit & champagne for both of us which was such a nice touch! So a big thank you! |

| Main disadvantages: I think everything we expected was at par. Nothing we don't really like.
Front desks were very helpful and courteous. |
| Main advantages: The hotel is beautiful. We love the room we stayed in - premium. Service
was great. Good breakfast buffet and so convenient. In general, servers
in the buffet room are good. There was one who was not as friendly. |

| Main disadvantages: Lobby and the lift is relatively small but it's normal in Europe. |
| Main advantages: Hotel location is good and the room is very nice with a good size. Hotel
staff are friendly and helpful while the breakfast quality is beyond my
expectation. If I travel to Madrid again, I will definite stay at this

| Main advantages: The staff was top notch from the front desk , to the 7th floor concierge
. The room was clean and well appointed . The room was expensive , but
there was good value for the money . 7th floor amenities were very
generous , with ample amounts of food and drinks available almost all
day . I would return , but would have to save up for the stay . |

| Main disadvantages: Although we requested for booking a Flamenco show at a tablao before the trip, and we and a staff had several exchanges, at the last point, we did not have a response whether the staff could book or not. |
| Main advantages: The trip was for 15th anniversary of our marrage. When we enter the room, there was a bottle of Cava, strawberry, and a card with words for celebration. Although we were a little depressed by lost baggages with the flight to Madrid, we felt better seeing such a special compliment. |

| Main advantages: Proffessional staff, the lounge of the 7th floor is wonderfull, especially breakfast. Jacuzzi on a terrace is wonderfull after walking the hole day around the city. |
