Main disadvantages: The hotel is in a suburban location, with not much shopping or restaurants around.

Main advantages: Close enough to the Metro to make going to the Prado easy. Very friendly and helpful staff gave us good directions to the nearest subway station and to the airport. Housekeeping gave us extra pillows quickly and easily.

Main disadvantages: The location was good for us because we had friends that stayed near but there is not much in walking distance around the hotel. There is a bus stop right outside it. Madrid is easy to get around. The hotel only had one iron the building to share and the iron board was like a toy, sort it out!

Main advantages: The Staff was really really friendly and helpful!! You could easily ask them for advice and recommendations Everything was very clean and smelled really nice. Would deffo stay here again...

Main disadvantages: Food from the menu was quite expensive.

Main advantages: Good clean hotel with a nice pool for kids. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and polite. Minor thing was that food is very expensive from the menu, but we ate out so no problems. You need a car to stay here, it's about 8Km out of town but this is reflected in the price, we were just stopping through Madrid so perfect for us. Would definitely stay again.

Main disadvantages: There was very limited shade at the poolside, could do with some parasols. Also, there was not really anything around (in terms of restaurants etc) within walking distance.

Main advantages: The hotel is lovely and peaceful, all the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The rooms are clean and individually air-conditioned. Breakfast is great, wide selection of good food.

Paul Monforte de Lemos, Spain - Business trip

Main disadvantages: There was only one thing- the distance from the metro station. It does say that there is a bus-stop outside the hotel to the nearest metro station (Moncloa), which is perfectly true. However, the last bus leaves at 11.30, which means paying for a taxi from Moncloa to the hotel- about 10 euros. Not a problem, but some may want to work it in to their budget. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again as the distance from the city ensures a good night's sleep!

Main advantages: The room was very comfy and it was in a quiet area. There was ample choice for breakfast- from continental to English with eggs, bacon and sausages- the first time we have ever seen that in Spain (we live here). Plenty of fresh fruit and juices as well as croissants etc.
