Denia Marriott Resort is set within La Sella Golf Course and features a swimming pool and spa. Its luxurious rooms have marble bathrooms and free internet. Main advantages: I have lived in that area for the past 10yrs. I sold my villa and needed a place to relax in after the sale and before returning to the UK. From my knowledge of the area,The only hotel to consider was the Marriott.. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the staff being so courteous and polite as well as their willingness to help. The cleanliness of the hotel in general is impressive, nothing is to much trouble. The variety of food and the quality is good and if you like that special cocktail at the bar, then Karim is the man. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Marriott again.

Main advantages: Fantastic hotel, great staff and a typical Marriott attitude to it's clients. Food could not be beaten fresh and well put together. The pool is clean and in general a faultless hotel. Spa was a lovely treat and all in all a lovely holiday.

Main disadvantages: I thought the description given for the cheaper rooms a bit misleading (i.e. overlooking the Montgo hills) there was no mention of the rather noisy road. Although the rooms were still of excellent quality.

Main advantages: Rooms were very attractive and comfortable. Rooms had everything we needed for our short trip. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Main disadvantages: Some of the add-on fees were a little on the expensive side, E.G. eur 12.20 for watching a film on the tv but I guess that is to be expected in a five star hotel. I would advise people visiting the hotel for the first time to arrive in daylight hours as it can be a little tricky to find at night time.

Main advantages: Wonderful hotel, very comfortable and very relaxing.

Main disadvantages: i am a smoker, and unfortunately there is no any smoking area in the hotel and i had to go out of the building (in cold weather) to smoke a cigaret.

Main advantages: it is a very good hotel. if i have time, i will go back again.

Main disadvantages: The spa experience would have been better if the hot rain and cold showers were descaled as the jets hardly worked.

Main disadvantages: A non slip mat in the bath would be beneficial for the more mature clientele. More English language entertainment channels (Not per view)

Main advantages: First class hotel, very helpful staff, cannot find fault, the spa experience is well worth every cent. The general layout of the hotel made it easily accessible to all amenities. Enjoyed the facilities so much, we stayed an extra night.

Main disadvantages: the service by the waiters was far from 5* and if you complained they didn't like it. They knew how to charge and always check your receipt

Main advantages: the rooms were kept spotless and very comfortable-the pool and the loungers were great and the supplying me the towels was a bonus.

Main disadvantages: Considering the hotel serves to many British families, it was disappointing that out of 20 free TV channels, there was only one in English, which was a news channel. Kids films were available in English at a costly 12 euros each - and no DVD player. So more English non news channels please. The swimming pool was quite small and an awkward shape for swimming more than a couple of metres at a time. Hotel shop not very inspiring. Mini bar predicatably expensive - as were poolside drinks and snacks. Not within walking distance of anywhere else, car hire essential. Surrounding towns such as Javea soon become boring after a few nights of tourist trap menus.

Main advantages: The hotel was luxuriously appointed with a fantastic breakfast service. Wonderful spa facilities and very comfortable beds with beautiful linen.

Main disadvantages: Too many kids in the pool! There should be a separate part of the swimming pool for adults where you can relax.

Main advantages: The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was fantastic, especially the pina coladas! The beds were luxurious and the sheets so soft and satiny. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade croissants and fresh juices and selection of jams. The spa was first class. The holiday was so relaxing and I would love to go back.

Main disadvantages: The internet was not working. They stated it was because of the close proximity of the mountains but I know having stayed there before that is not the case. On my last visit the internet worked perfectly. I cannot understand how a quality hotel can fail to offer an internet service. This is not acceptable
