Main advantages: The hotel is good value, with all the facilities you would expect from a business hotel. Location is just a short journey from the main tourist sites.

Main disadvantages: The internet connection was free but incredibly slow. Breakfast at 16euros per person is a bit overpriced, it is cheaper and nicer to eat at a cafe in the centre of Madrid.

Main advantages: The hotel is modern and has good facilities and spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations for eating out/day trips etc. The hotel is not located directly in the city centre but you can easily reach it by public transport or by walking through the lovely Retiro Park. There are some good restaurants around 5-10mins away (like Cruz Blanca, a nice tapas bar/restaurant).

Main disadvantages: Would like to have been a little closer to the center of the City.

Main advantages: Staff is very professional, the rooms were very clean and quiet, the proximity to the center of madrid. A cab ride is about 7 to 10 euros to the center of Madrid, you can also take the metro which is a short 2 blocks from Hotel.

Main disadvantages: In Australia all hotels have coffeee making facilities in the rooms and we were surprised a hotel off your standing did not provide it. Other hotels we stayed in in Spain did provide these facilities.

Main advantages: It was close to the city and the metro

Main disadvantages: Not a huge amount in the immediate vicinity - quite a businessy area. Though we found a pleasant cafe for lunch, and a supermarket just 5 minutes down the road, both of which proved useful and good for our 5 day stay.

Main advantages: Very peaceful, comfortable place to stay. It's approximately 30 minutes' walk to the centre (though Museo del Prado is closer), but as that walk is through the Parque del Retiro, it's a very pleasant way to being each day enjoying Madrid.

Main advantages: They were very accommodating to allow my wife and two college aged kids in one room. On the other hand, there was no privacy and the kids were up until 3 am most nights: get two rooms! The location was very central to metro, about three blocks south of Baranda stop. We took the metro from the airport and bought a five day all you can ride card which was most convenient. The city does not go to bed and always felt safe on subway and in the neighborhood of Ayre. Would highly recommend and will return again!
