booking, there are different types of room. |

gave us lots of information about public transport and timetable ( we
went to Port Aventura). The room was clear, bed were ok |

| Main disadvantages: The view from the window - we could see only the wall of the oposite
building but as we spent most time outside the hotel during the day, we
didn't mind that much |

| Main advantages: The hotel was in good location, walkable distance to plaza cataloonoya
and ram blaz street which are the main happening palces in the city of
Barcelona. Rooms are very clean and spacious, the staff are excellent,
very friendly and helpful. Lot of cafes and reastaurants nearby. Infact
I paid double of the cost on previous night but service and comfort was
half copmared to Acta Splendid |

| Main advantages: It was close to the centre, just a short direct walk, nice peqceful
area. Security in the hotel was very good (heard all the negative thing
about Barcelona before we visited the city and happy to say we saw none
of it) Front desk staff were very helpful re tours and directions. Room
was very nice, sheets changed every day, bed comfortable, bathroom
spotless, clean towels every day. We would stay there again. |

| Main disadvantages: Very dark room - it looked onto a . Walls were thin so you can hear
people walking in passage, TV's next door etc. But we were so tired from
walking so much we managed to sleep through it. |
| Main advantages: The location was relatively good - about 3 mins walk from Universitat
metro station. About 10 mins walk to Las Ramblas.
The value for money was good given other hotels I was looking at online. I do think they should give you breakfast for 100 euros a room. This costs extra. |

| Main advantages: Excellent Location, courtious manager, excellent coffee and break
fast, nearness to catalunia square, las ramblas room apt for 2
persons. Only air conditioning in room # 314 was very bad and no fan
was provided we were sweating and could not sleep the whole night
keeping the window open because it was very noisy outside till 3 am.
Next day the manager allocated room # 209 where airconditioning was
good. However, no compensation given to us for the 1st day of
inconvenient and sleepless night. |

| Main disadvantages: It was difficult to park outside the hotel to unload luggage. Our room had no view and limited natural light. |
| Main advantages: Pleasant, well equipped room well located for the tourist centre of Barcelona. Hotel did recommend a local car park when we arrived that was a lot cheaper than the rates we saw advertised before we arrived. |

| Main disadvantages: There are not enough outlets. I had to crawl under the desk and unplug the TV to find an electrical outlet in the room. Please purchase more irons as both nights I called they were in use and not available to me. |
| Main advantages: The location was excellent for my needs. staff helpful but they could have more knowledge of the subways and answer basic local questions as guests are first orientating themselves. I don;t know is not the right answer. Great stay overall |

| Main advantages: Excellent location, staff really nice and helpful. Great for visiting the lovely city. Room was pretty clean yet a little bit small, but you would not care, as Barcelona is not for staying much inside. Bathroom quite big, marble finish, everything working fine. If you care much for silence, ask for a room with windows to the backyard. Rooms with street windows will give you a good image of the city’s night and day pulse. |
