Main advantages: It was centrally situated for all needs (buses, restaraunts,attractions, shops, bars ) for a short stay in Barcelona, The price of the room excellent.Good value for the money. Highly Recommend.

Main advantages: The location was great, very central, near dining options, shopping area and Las Ramblas and Plaza Cataluyna. Even though on a main street, the sound proof windows were very good, no noise at all. Front desk was helpful, especially Oscar, who gave excellent recommendations on sight- seeing, dinning options.

John Morecambe, United Kingdom - Individual tour

Main advantages: Modern hotel rooms, clean and in a great location. Staff very helpfull. Small swiminmg pool. Perfect for a relaxing swim at the end of a long site seeing day in the city. Will stay there again, when I hope to return to the city.

Main disadvantages: In short: the room was not clean enough (E.G. nobody cleaned water stains on the bathroom's floor, similarly with the mirror, glasses, etc.), the room was relatively small, there was an unpleasant smell from the water pipes (the buliding is from 1888), eventually, the room was not quiet, although it was generally acceptable. In principle, if you are in a 4-star hotel you expect at least 4-star service - we did not feel it at this hotel. It was ordinary.

Main advantages: We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. In short: the localisation was very good, also the staff was helpful and professional, the breakfast was good.

Main disadvantages: We got a room at the back of the hotel which looks out onto a school. Playground. If you have a choice look for a room at the front (more light and better views), if you are a light sleeper you'll hear the kids playing outside all morning (they never seem to be in class). It wasn't really an issue for us as we were out all day.The room we had, though a ok size didn't feel like it was 27sq.m

Main advantages: Location .... within a short walk of placa catalunya. It felt safe and relaxed, far enough away from ramblas not to be disturbed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Main disadvantages: The subway is running under the street or hotel and was noisy. The wall between the rooms must be very thin since I could hear the guests in the next room having a normal conversation. Unfortunately in the middle of the night. For me the noise of the subway and people talking next door was disturbing and I did not sleep well. On the other hand, my room mate did not bother at all and slept like a baby.

Main advantages: Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms were fully equipped and very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent ! And again the staff was very helpful. They all speak English or French. Within walking distance of the Rambla and Plaza Catalunya.

Main disadvantages: The spa was filled with dirty water!!!! Needs to be cleaned every day!!!. By the end of our stay the water was yellow and only half full. The staff in the breakfast room charged me for every day breakfast event though we only had breakfast 3 out of 6 days. Expensive price for breakfast.

Main disadvantages: The gym was very small and not well equipped and also the pool was not regularly cleaned. The breakfast was very good but it was the same for all the days.

Main advantages: It was very close to all amenties and it was very comfortable to sleep in,the staff was very friendly, it is very clean and has a really good smell all through the hotel, good food in restaurant, and the most important it is very close to Placa Catalunya were you don't have to walk a long distance to everything even from the Barcelona Bus station. I would recommend this hotel to every-one and even if i will think to go to Barcelona for the second time i will defintely stay in Acta Atrium. Thanks

Main disadvantages: They are checking the alarm every morning around 5h and unfortunately it happend that they forgot to swich off the chanel for the rooms, so we were woken up early in the morning with the somebody saying "attention, attention" on the loud speaker.
