| Main advantages: Hotel was very spacious, clean and rooms were in excellent condition. Hotel was about 10 mins walk to Las Ramblas with a number of excellent restaurants located within 10 mins of the hotel. |

| Main disadvantages: Rooms are noisy because of connecting doors between the rooms. You can
hear your neighbours talk without raising their voices.
The safe in our room had an old fashioned key which you need to carry with you all the time. Should be changed for a safe with an electronic lock. |
| Main advantages: Excellent location, close to bars, restaurants and shops. Very friendly
and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained hotel. The windows can be
opened. The airco can be controlled. Breakfast was also replenished
after 10:30 (tip: serve breakfast until 12:00). |

seemed high. |

Swimming pool a good bonus. I would like to see drink making equipment
in room for coffees teas and perhaps a picture or two to take the hard

| Main disadvantages: The pool was overlooked by appartment blocks, which is fair enough for a
city location - but it may bother some people. Breakfast was very basic
so would recommend going out of the hotel to a cafe for breakfast. |

good in terms of being between two good metro lines. It was 15 mins walk
from the ramblas which was good for having a quiet location and a good
nights sleep. The room was very clean, lots of tv channels and a good
security deposit box. |

little away from the hustle and bustle but only a walk to everywhere

| Main disadvantages: The restaurant was just okay. Luckily there are other choices close by. We ate the breakfast buffet which suited our needs just fine but wasn't great. |
| Main advantages: The desk staff was tremendously helpful with recommendations, reservations and extra pillows. Courteous and very professional. We would definitely stay here again. |

| Main disadvantages: Because of pouring rain in Barcelona, we decided to eat in the Acevi
restaurant. We were not very impressed with the food. 15 euros for three
courses; but only the dessert was tasty. Somewhat disappointing! |

to provide maps, suggestions where to eat, and when our travel plans
changed and we wanted to stay another night, the staff suggested
other similar hotels in the area tha we could try as the Acevi was
fully booked. |

| Main disadvantages: The buffet breakfast was too expensive and consequently we went outside for all our meals. There should be a coffee brewer or water kettle in the room. The recreation facilities should be free of charge for all guests. |
| Main advantages: The family room facility was great with excellent bathrooms and comfortable beds. The hotel was quiet and clean and the whole family slept well all night. The location of the hotel was great with walking distance to all shopping and attraction areas. |

| Main disadvantages: The pool is essentailly a 'plunge pool' for adults using the spa/massage facilities and in no way should be advertised as siutable for children as it was unheated (perhaps this is typical, but it was one of the resaons for booking the hotel) and was too shallow to swim in. |
| Main advantages: The location of the hotel was excellent, not too close to the centre, but not too far that it deterred our young family from walking to the main sites in Barcelona City Centre. |

| Main advantages: I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was close enough to a metro stop which could take you to all the main attractions, and it was even close enough to walk to Passieg de Gracia & La Rambla. The room was clean and spacious and staff friendly - definitely good value for money in such an expensive city. |
