Main advantages: The staff was incredible, friendly, professional and cheerful. They went out of their way to help with any need-dinner reservations, and tours. The room was large as was the bathroom. Very clean and well appointed. Plenty of big fluffy towels and bath gels, shampoos, etc...

Pasquale Sarzana, Italy - Business trip

Main advantages: The Charles Hotel is an imposing building in the neo art deco style especially projected to be a first class hotel. Hence you can hardly improve its excellent facilities. Furthermore the Staff is friendly, efficient and well trained. The location is at short walking distance from the city center. That's good for burning out the extra calories packed in the excellent bavarian recepies.

Main disadvantages: I'd like to see the hotel offer free internet and perhaps lower the price of breakfast (30 euros for a buffet is a bit steep, especially if you have children).

Main advantages: I liked everything about the Charles Hotel. The Deluxe double room I had was luxurious and comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful; you can see the Botanical Garden below and some of the well known landmarks such as the Frauenkirche on the horizon. The location is fantastic, it's walking distance to the museums, the Marienplatz, it's a five minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof, yet, you wouldn't know it. The hotel was located in a calm and quiet area, there was no sign of hustling and bustling associated with busy train stations. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Main disadvantages: The hidden charges particularly breakfast and no indication of the cost. Also the mini bar was very expensive. TV Guide was below par in terms of information provided. It did not seem possible to simply tune in to a film choice and simply watch it and pay, if necessary, accordingly.

Main advantages: The hotel was extremely comfortable, clean and central to the city centre with no need to worry about public transport. Breakfast served up a good variety of foods. Staff very professionally trained and courteous. A feeling of being safe was important.

Main disadvantages: It is unheard off a hotel of your stature to have wireless internet instead of WiFI and charge 20 euro a day for it.This service should be frree or at least a lesser charge.Although there was a large amount of satelite channels most were in arabic,it would be nice to have at least have one greek satelite channel since it is free.You could also include pancakes and a variety of egg preparation at the boufet at Breakfast.

Main advantages: My experience in your hotel was one of my best and I have stayed in a lot of hotels,the room including the bathroom was very comfortable, spacious and elegant,your cleanleness was of high standard and your staff from the doorman,housekeeper the bar manager, the receptionist and the restaurant staff was.......I cannot find the words that will do them justice..........Excelent professionals,Thank you I will be back soon!
