Main advantages: I liked the friendly reception, the cleanliness and the homeliness of the pension. It was well placed regarding transport and ease of getting to the centre and at an excellent price. The use of the kitchen was particularly good.

Main advantages: Very clean, pleasant room with two big windows. Location of Pension is
very comfortable, it`s not far from Airport Tegel and center of Berlin
using U-Bahn. Near of the Pension there are several coffee shops, bars
and eating-houses, especially the most beautiful place was the bar
"Eschenbreau", with a genuine soul Berlin`s bars! With U-Bahn there is
station S-Banh and in 20-30 min you could be arrived in almost any place
of the town as you wish.

Main disadvantages: Room wasn't cleaned during 6 days but i didn't asked. So it wasn't a problem.
Main advantages: Very good situated. 5-7 min from U-bahn. 10 min in U-bahn to center of the city. Very quite and small pension. Bathrooms were clened very well. Good kitchen. Very cheap. Supermarket is located 7 min by foot. Wirelles internet(Wi-Fi) worked well except video calls in Skype.

Main advantages: The host was extremely nice. The rooms ware cosy and colorful. We enjoyed the informal way things work at this Pension and the friendly atmosphere. Nice decoration, in and outside.

Main disadvantages: I did't like that tv did't work at all, only one programme, room antenna
and when this device switsched off spontaneously! I did't like bath
because it was difficult to get a needed balance of cold and hot water.
Main advantages: It was very pleasant to fill hospitality of its owner Frau Brau. WiFi
connection was exellent. Rather confortable bed to sleep and quite
atmosphere all around. Only 25 euro for a night!

Main disadvantages: The smell in the stairway of the building, outside of the pension.
Main advantages: The room, the hall, the bathrooms were spacious and perfectly clean. The
landlady was kind and helpful. Cold and hot drinks can be bought in the
pension on moderate price. There are free wireless internet access. The
Wedding U/S-Bahn station is at 600m distance from the pension.

Main advantages: This is an apartment, in which there are separate rooms and some shared
bathrooms. So you book a room in an apartment owned by Regine Braun.
She doesn't speak English very good, but the lack is compensated by its
helpfulness. The bath and room looked mostly clean, there was a small
kitchen to use (shared), with fridge, watter heater and maybe more
(didn't use it). The neighborhood very quiet and peaceful, a bit far
for center (but it takes about 10 minutes from there to the underground
station, and an additional 15-25 minutes to the center). Coffee is
there to drink but you have to pay for it (honor system: you leave the
coins in a tray), the same goes for soft drinks. If I'll go to Berlin
again for 2-3 days on my own money, I'll probably try to book a room
there again.

Main disadvantages: Would be nice if there were two showers.
Main advantages: I was looking for a place close to TXL airport, and this was the cheapest and best place I found. The single room was 25 Euros (no credit card accepted) and the staff were very nice. They have WIFI, a small kitchen with everything you need, hot water, coffee stuff, two bathrooms, one shower, and a few other amenities. It is small and not super 'relaxing', but there are a lot of nice bakeries and other food places nearby. The underground is also very near. I'd stay there again if I needed to be near the airport or for a short stay.

Main advantages: Nice room with plenty of space, very clean everywhere and I especially liked the kitchen facilities. Combined with a bakery shop a few meters away this allowed me to have an excellent relaxed breakfast.

Main advantages: The first impression when seeing the building where the pension was wasn't very good, but once I was inside everything was according to my expectations. My room was quite big and had everything I could need. Although the bathrooms were shared, as the pension is not too big, it felt like staying with a family. The pension is not near the city centre, but close enough to a S-Bahn and a U-Bahn station, and the neighbourhood seemed pretty quiet.

Main advantages: Although the Pension was located in a non-trendy area, yet safe area, and the building was in bad shape (the pension actually occupies the 1st floor of a building), the cleaningless and neatness of it were excellent. Although the bathrooms were shared (3 for 6 rooms) they were spotless and so was the remanding areas. The furniture was from Ikea but conformable and adequate. The room was big enough with a TV in it and they had wireless internet for free. It was not in the city center, but 5 min walk from a U-Bahn station which connected to the center of Berlin quickly. All in all a budget place to stay for a few day in Berlin if you are willing to trade trendiness for a clean cheap unfashionable place. I do recommend it.
