| Main disadvantages: The facilities for making breakfast or tea were very basic. One window
was broken which may have been a problem in summer. The communal toilet
wasn't clean when we arrived. Although there are other apartments and
rooms associated with Pension Mitte, as two sisters we were a bit
isolated from any other guests and had no where to sit other than on the
bed. I am not sure who lives upstairs but there was often a bit of
banging during the day. |
| Main advantages: It was a very good location near the Berlin wall and walking distance to
Alexanderplatz. The staff were very flexible, helpful and easy going.
They even arranged to pick us up from the airport as we had a late
flight. We were left alone and given a flexible check out time. It was
very good for the price at new years so over all we were very happy. We
paid cash on arrival which was also very convenient. Excellent power
shower and a comfy bed. |

| Main advantages: best and "real" local people. Interesting berlin wall history around the corner of the hotel too. Train station right upfront is very handy. Cheap restaurant next door is nice too |

| Main disadvantages: The reception/common area in between the rooms and the restroom and kitchen. You can hear every noise made outside the room. Hated the shower. There is no staff. The bathroom was not clean everyday and the lady that came to clean it just sat in the common area smoking and talking loudly on the phone. |

| Main disadvantages: I have no complaints. I got everything I could reasonably expect for 30 euros, and more. |
| Main advantages: Austere (no frills, not even soap), but clean, well located and fantastic value for money. Staff not always available, but friendly and helpful. My room was at the back of the house and quiet. |

| Main disadvantages: They contacted me three times to confirm my arrival/check-in time. I arrived at the time I told them, however I still had to wait 20 minutes to be let into the building. Also their main office is at a different address (141 Brunnenstr.) to the one listed on website. |

| Main advantages: Upgraded to self contained apartment (at no extra cost) with full facilities (full kitchen, own bathroom with washing machine & own bedroom). excellent location to everything but in a quiet area close to supermarkets and Tram/U Barn station. Perfect for my stay. |

| Main disadvantages: Wouldn't describe it as hotel, more a bedsit and no, nothing wrong with it. If you want to meet people you probably won't here but heh, plenty of other hostels for that. Would still recommend it. Very good price too. |
| Main advantages: There were no staff as such. Met by a guy at the front door of the block, he gave me my key and that was it! Great. It was like having my own bedsit for a few days (albeit with a shared bathroom) Didn't see my 'neighbours' at all and only once I did I have to wait 10 minutes for the bathroom. My ex used to spend 3 hours in there doing god know what so waiting 10 mins was hardly an inconvenience! Nice and quiet in the flat, great location too. Spitting distant to the U station and only a short stroll to Alexanderplatz. |

| Main disadvantages: Only complaint is that the proprietor had not yet set up wireless internet access in room as was advertised. He says that he's working on it, so it should not be a problem in the future. |
| Main advantages: The location is excellent, right next to the underground and one or two stops from museums and shopping in the Mitte district (or a 15-minute walk). Room was clean with a shared bathroom in suite of three rooms. |

| Main advantages: The couple that run the Pension are lovely. My room was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The location is a 2 minute walk from the tram. The environment there fosters interesting conversations between everyone who is staying. |
