Main advantages: Very comfortable hotel. A good base for touring round the area. The pool
and sauna are lovely to relax in. Lovely views from hotel. Easy access
into town of Cochem with very nice shops, bars and restaurants.

Main disadvantages: They transferred us from a seaview room to the bridal suite and included a meal but they could have told us that before. I am not sure i got the better part of that bargin.The Cochem town is terribly downgrade - turist slum.That is why I will not recommend the place.
Main advantages: The Hotel is fine but the wiev from the restaurant terasse is spoiled by an addition of further housing so you are looking into a roof.Fine Spa and service.

Main disadvantages: German rigidity (you are assigned the same table for your whole stay, even if all other tables are free - you have to ask with insistence to hope to bend that rigidity !) - So-called room (#43) with a view on the Mosel River and you end up with a room just above the street on the mountain side (you have to be on your balcony to have a -nice- view on Cochem and its castle) - TV with German-speaking channels only - As you have seen with other comments, a 5% charge is added to your bill when paying with any credit card !!!
Main advantages: Very nice spa - Nice location near the Mosel River in a village worth visiting while in the region

Main disadvantages: The only down side was that the room was a bit warm with no air conditioning to cool it down; but we simply opened a window for cooler air.
Main advantages: The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and courtious at all times. The hotel was better than expected and we were looked after in every way the whole time we were there. From having a table automatically booked for meals, with the same table for breakfast, to the staff remembering our names after only a day.

Main disadvantages: Room slightly on the small side but not uncomfortable.
Main advantages: Well situated hotel relative to castle and town of Cochem, about 30 minutes' easy walk from the town center. Very attentive, polite, and helpful reception staff.

Main disadvantages: We chose a room in the annexe. There was nothing on the website to show that these rooms were down several staircases across the hotel gardens and down more steps. The car parking was on a public road and hard to find. For this reason we asked to change the room. Incomprehensibly we still kept our dinner table based on the old room number for the rest of our stay. Food was below standard for price and stars.
Main advantages: Our final room was very good with a view of the Mosel.

Main advantages: Good location for exploring the castle and the wine-growing area of the Mosel. The health facilities are excellent and included in the price. Plenty of free parking at the hotel.

Main advantages: The hotel was perfect. Situated in a quiet but scenic village just 15 minutes walk from Cochem. The staff, food and spa/wellness were just what you need for a stay in the mosel.

Main disadvantages: - We had a room in the annex building so we had to walk trough the hotel to go to the pool (they also have changing room there), also, not all the staff is speaking english

Main disadvantages: Really nice hotel but over priced for a dog ( €15 per night for a dogthat doesnt use any facilities and doesnt eat there either, veryexpensive ), also no tv channels in English, lots in German and cnn onlyin English ( not the best channel for a movie ) Bathrobes in the roomsare size m which we couldnt fit, why not xl so that it can be too bigfor some people but better too big thn too small no??!! Main advantages: The food and service was excellent. We had an early flight and they made accomodations for us to eat early. Front desk staff very informative. Wish it was a warmer season so we could enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas. Many special touches.
