Main advantages: A very good experience in the heart of former East Berlin. A very good spa for relax after a day of work. Very close to shops and to restaurants. I would go again with no hesitation.

Main advantages: This is a marvellous hotel and we can't wait to return. Everything about it is just sensational. The staff could not be more helpful and the Concierge is a dream. The decor of the hotel is fantastic and it is really a fantastic hotel for the wonderful city of Berlin. It is covered in wonderful art. It is right in the middle of this exciting city.

Main disadvantages: The room was a bit warm at times during the stay and the air conditioner wasn't great. But, overall, I really liked the hotel.

Main advantages: I liked the location, since I was in town for a conference at Humboldt University and the hotel is a few blocks away. I also liked that there was an option for paying a lower price without the breakfast buffet and some of the amenities, since I didn't need those. The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I had to stay an extra day due to the hurricane in the United States, and the staff was helpful in arranging an extra day.

Main disadvantages: The TVs are a bit old and they could do with having a better selection of non german language channels. Nothing to do with the hotel: If you are coming into Berlin from Shoenfeld Airport by train be warned they can be a little delayed or late - allow an extra 15mins to and from Airport.

Main advantages: Excellent location - Unter den Linden is 3 mins walk away. The Brandenberg Gate and Bundestag are less than 10 mins walk away too. Very handy for public transport - Freidrichstrasse Train & Metro stations are 3 mins walk away. Spacious and relaxing lobby, very helpful staff, rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Good cocktail bar

Kay , - Rest with friends

Main disadvantages: Avoid the breakfasts as we did - far too expensive at 22 euros. 2 minutes around the corner is Café Einstein where the service is great, you can sit outside on the corner of Unter den Linden and there are a wide variety of excellent breakfasts on offer, most for less then 10 euros. Apart from that the lifts must be the slowest in creation!

Main advantages: Comfortable and very clean rooms, swimming pool.

Nikolaos Athens, Greece - Individual tour

Main advantages: Excellent location, near Museum Island, Brandenburg Gate and other sites. Also near a major train station, in a classy neighborhood, full of department stores, restaurants, cafes etc. Kind and helpful stuff. Breakfast buffet of great variety and good quality.

Main advantages: We love the Maritim Pro Arte Friedrichstrasse, it's our choice whenever in Berlin. Superb location, very comfortable and elegant but not over the top, and I alwys book with lounge service, which is just right for us.
