Main advantages: very helpful, polite staff. My sister and I were travelling with our elderly mother in a wheelchair and were very well looked after. We had a fantastic view from our balcony. The room was lovely, the bathrooms were beautifully designed. The food was very good and the restaurant location on the 9th floor was an excellent place to enjoy a meal.

Main disadvantages: It would have been nice to have a casual dining place for a quick sandwich rather than using room service.

Main advantages: The staff were most helpful with all our questions from sightseeing to mailing letters. They couldn't have been nicer! The location was perfect for us as we could walk to almost every place we wanted to go.

Main disadvantages: We did not like the table arrangements at breakfast - sitting underneath the raised tables was not ideal and we had no privacy as a result of this. It was a very busy place to sit and not brilliant considering this fantastic hotel. The food was great but the seating arrangements weren't.

Main advantages: This was an expensive birthday treat for us but we loved the hotel and the location so it was worth spending the money. The modern room, with lake view was beautiful with all modern conveniences and a luxury bathroom. The room temperature was perfect and we had a fabulous nights sleep. The breakfast was lovely.

Main advantages: Very nice hotel in the lovely city "Hamburg". Beautiful view on the lake just in front of the hotel, especially when your drink something at the bar on the 9th floor!!

Main disadvantages: They should really improve the internet. There was no wi-fi in the rooms and lobby. Only a wire coming out of the wall. I plugged my laptop to it and realized, that I should pay 6 euro per hour or 20 euro for 24 hour internet access.

Main advantages: Very good rooms, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi.

Seymur Istanbul, Turkey - Individual tour

Main disadvantages: The window panes overlooking the street are not insulant enough against the traffic noise and the wind. The curtains were moving even though the windows were shut.

Main advantages: The hotel staff, especially the concierge were very helpful and courteous.The buffet-breakfast was very extensive and rewarding. The room was quite comfourtable with a nice view.
