Main disadvantages: I thought the cost of drinks at the bar were a little too pricey.
Main advantages: The staff were very friendly and helpful . The decor of the hotel was

Main disadvantages: The only complaint I would make would be, the cost of the breakfast at
28euros was somewhat expensive, forcing our group and others to find
breakfast else where.

Main disadvantages: Very expensive. It was over 450 Euro for one night. However, it was Oktoberfest and rooms were hard to come by in the city at nice hotels. Don't know if this was their usual rate or was just more expensive due to Oktoberfest.
Main advantages: Location is perefect. Across the street from the main train station and an easy walk to the city center in one direction and to Oktoberfest in the other. Very easy and inexpensive to take the train from the station across the street to the airport. Rooms are big, modern, and comfortable.

Main disadvantages: The pool area and male changing room were messy -- towels and water
everywhere except clean and dry ones. The pool was warmer than the hot
tub which concerned me. The front door is where everyone comes out to
smoke so entering or exiting one inhales smokes, steps on butts and has
to constantly more around and say 'pardon' to get in the door. It
reminds me of a pub not a luxury hotel.
Main advantages: The room service waiters were pleasant, amusing and professonal. The
front desk and concierge were incredibly helpful.

Main advantages: The first breakfast buffet open till 1 pm I've seen (if you're not an
early bird, you'll appreciate). Great heated indoor pool (around 16
meters, which is large enough for swimming ; if you just want to relax,
enjoy the jacuzzi or the spa). Good location (next to the main train
station and to the Lufthansa Airport Bus stop ; old city center at
around 10/15 minutes by walk). The staff was very friendly.

Main disadvantages: The only hotel that charged extra for breakfast in our two week travels -- at 28 Euros/person, we found some excellent options at the train station across the street.
Main advantages: This is definitely a business hotel, but with great rooms. The beds were exceptional -- not two twins pushed together, but a full king/queen bed. This hotel is right across from the train station, literally, so this made it very handy as we did our entire trip on the train.

overlooking the Hauptbahnhof. Not rated excellent as there were no tea
or coffee making facilities and no wifi. However, in every other respect

Main disadvantages: Breakfast is very good but very expensive at 28 Euros per head. We had breakfast at the Hauptbahnhof where there is plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Not all outlets have seating, but there are a few.
Main advantages: Next to the Hauptbahnhof, near centre of Munich (Marienplatz) and shops, within walking distance of many attractions (Englisher Garten, Deutches Museum etc.)

Main disadvantages: Not a nice area coming out of station and entrance to hotel - council
could clean this area up for hotel's sake. No tea/coffee in room and
unable to use mini bar fridge, as any movement is a charge.
Main advantages: The wonderful pool and jacuzzi. The Potager continental breakfast.
Location as used trains every day. Helpful reception staff. Welcome
fruit drink at breakfast and welcoming staff..

Main disadvantages: Too much noise---in the lobby, in the elevator with music or spa sounds or some other alien noise. I think it is an expensive commercial hotel, which is fine as long as the company is paying the tab. It's not intimate; it's not personal; it's clean; the staff is polite, but paying an extra 15 Euros for a room just because it has been renovated seemed ridiculous.
Main advantages: The beds were very comfortable---and high enough off the floor. The bathroom was excellent--newly renovated. The location worked, but a hotel near the central railroad station is bound to be noisy. This was my 20th trip to Vienna; I've stayed in quieter hotels.
