Main advantages: High class hotel, right on Kurfurstendam. Good spa-section open from 0600 to 2200. Expensive breakfast - as expected at a five star hotel in a capital(!) Very helpful and obliging staff, but not at all pushing.

Odette Budapest-Dunapart Teher Pályaudvar, Hungary - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: No wifi ....only for 25 euro per day. In most of the budapest and vienna hotels even in 3 or 4 stars wifi is for free. Kempinsky budapest also has wifi for free old tv no water heater in the room small gym room

Main advantages: Location was good friendly staff

Main disadvantages: We had interconnecting rooms, one of which was a little small. The rooms were also dated. Saying that we got a heavily discounted rate on booking.com and hence I was happy with what we got. There is a wing in the hotel which has been modernised and I expect they charge more for those rooms.

Main advantages: Excellent location, attentive and polite staff.

Main disadvantages: The room was crammed and not with much space. Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel, no tea/coffee making facilities. Usually the room tv is a small flat screen but we had an old style tv on the side. Many 3 and 4 star hotels I have stayed in recently are much better equiped then this 5 star. So the room was the only disappointing part of the stay.

Main advantages: The pool area, gym and sauna... The man who works as the pool attendent was very good, excellent service.

Main disadvantages: Overall the experience was a pleasant one. The biggest drawback is there is the internet. If you dont want to have to pay you only get 10 min of free at a time and have to log back in once it expires. Other observations: The hotel could use some updating but as long as it's clean, it's kind of nice to have a place that isnt completely contemporary. When I asked about an Italian restaurant they eagerly suggested two nearby and when I asked about one (that is top end) they said they had never heard about it and werent so interested to learn.

Main advantages: It was convenient to all the places I needed to go and they had a good deal. The nice thing about Berlin (compared to Paris where I had come from) is that the rooms are sizeable and the pillows big enough.

Main disadvantages: After the cleaning we have seen a smoking ash in the corner near the window in our room, it was a hard-to see place, but we have seen it, why made didn't?

Main advantages: It's a perfect value for money. Great hotel with a great history. All facilities, location, stuff everything is professional and classy.

Main advantages: Everything was wonderfull .The staff were superb and the hotel can be very proud of them.We had a fantastic break for the marathon. I hope to return next year.
