Main advantages: Clean and nice. A room towards the street is unfortuneately a bit noisy, because of the tramway. Next time I would insist on a room towards the yard.

Main advantages: For European hotel rooms are large, comfortable, clean, quiet, good in room storage, outstanding breakfast and coffee, and supberb staff. There was not a question they could not answer and they were very willing to offer advice and help on travel and sites to eat. Safe & Secure environment.

Main disadvantages: You had to pay 1 Euro each time you wanted to use the safe in the room. Also, we checked in and were given a room at the front of the hotel, facing the street. As the tram runs right past the door, the room was very noisy when the windows were open. If the windows (double-glazed) were closed, you couldn't hear anything. But we were there in high summer, and as there was no air coniditioning, it was impossible to sleep with the windows closed. So we had to open the windows, and it was extremely noisy. We did inquire after a room at the back of the building but were told that we should have specified this at time of booking and that it cost EUR 15 extra! I don't remember seeing this on the web site at the time, and I would certainly have booked a room at the back if I'd known this.

Main advantages: Room was bright and clean. Location was fantastic, right beside tram stop and around the corner from U-Bahn station.

Main advantages: The hotel was was well placed with transport close by to travel into Berlin centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and very good breakfast at reasonable price.
