Main disadvantages: Far from centre, but direct S-Bahn connection

Main advantages: Spacious rooms, wifi and other extras without payment, very pleasant and helpful staff, quiet surroundings in nice residential area (main noise from passing S-Bahn)

Main disadvantages: There was some confusion about the price. I had conflicting information - one part of the confirmation was including breakfast and taxes and the part stated the same price was excluding breakfast and taxes. Fortunately, the hotel honored the including information after I showed them the paperwork.

Main advantages: We picked this hotel because we had to pick up my daughter about 1 km away the next morning to catch an early flight. I arrived early, but the room was ready and the front desk lady was very nice. She also arranged a taxi service for me the following morning.

Pedro Oeiras, Portugal - Rest with children

Main advantages: This is a small privately-owned hotel. The staff includes the owner itself and they are all extremely helpful and courteous towards the guests. I stayed in a single room which was a bit on the small side and could benefit from more closet space, yet it had facilities which are seldom found in a hotel of this kind, such as an ironing board and a safe. The room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The hotel is very close to the S-bahn station of Mexikostrasse, allowing convenient access to Central Berlin. It is also fairly close to U-bahn line 3 station of Krumme Lanke. In all, it was an enjoyable stay and I think this is an excellent and affordable hotel for Berlin visitors.

Main advantages: The hotel is in a lovely historic district outside of Berlin. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable for my family of 4. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Will stay here again.
