Main advantages: I had a double room, single occupancy at the rear of the building, so it was comfortable for one person. The hotel is clean, well kept and breakfast was generous but I can't see where it gets the four stars from. I would recommend it though as a good place to stay that is a bit too expensive for what it offers.

Main disadvantages: Mu only negative comment was the presentation of the buffet style breakfast, there were too many fussy carved vegetables and fruit plus lots of lettuce which made it difficult to see what was actually on the plates. Fresh fruit salad would have been better than the tinned fruit on offer.

Main advantages: excellent location very central for good cheap public transport links to the major sites. Reception staff very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable if we were to return to Berlin we would stay here again

William , - Individual tour

Main disadvantages: The sofa bed that makes the room a quad is small. Ok for children under 12, but a tight fit for 2 older children/teenagers.

Main advantages: The reputation of this hotel is well deserved. Great location, clean, comfortable facilities, great breakfast (at extra charge), and a very knowledgeable and courteous staff.

Main advantages: Wonderful hotel in a great location. We ran into several problems during our last visit to Berlin, none of which had anything to do with the hotel, and the staff went out of their way to help us resolve them.

Main disadvantages: absence of the staff from 3:00 to 6:30 in the morning!!

Main advantages: Ibn Amara, the guy from the staff, was the best, he helped us for every request and question..really he a great and we'll come back to this hotel just if we'll be sure that he stay in the hotel

Main disadvantages: We were booked for something called an "Executive room." I don't know if that's what we got, but our room (#27) would be called an ordinary room in the U.S. It was quite satisfactory, though.

Main advantages: The all-you-want breakfast spread for 6 euro was excellent. The location is quiet and only a few minutes from city transportation (U-bahn, S-bahn and bus). The hotel staff was courteous and helpful with contacting the airline to help find a missing suitcase (unfortunately unsuccessful so far). From Bahnhof-Zoo station, a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel, a city bus goes direct to Tegel airport, and the S-bahn direct to Schoenfeld airport (with one transfer).
