Main disadvantages: I think the lack of lobby space is a drawback. It would be nice to have the possibility of sitting to read a newespaper or a book in a relaxing, comfortable environment. There is only a very small space with two armchairs at present. I was dismayed to be charged for two cups of tea when my wife and I returned to the hotel on our first night. All we had was hot water and a tea bag! For this we werre charged 2.50 euro each.We could not work the coffee machine in our room and so, after this we had no refreshment when we returned to our room at night. This left a slightly bad feeling.

Main advantages: The atmospherre is very good, warm and friendly. The breakfast is top class.

Main disadvantages: The problem with the room when we arrived was unwelcome but was quickly resolved and the upgrade made up for it!

Main advantages: A mix up with our booking meant we had to spend the first night in an inferior hotel across the street. Staff at the Hotel Augusta were most apologetic, however, and the next morning we were given an upgrade in the Hotel Augusta to an excellent room with a balcony. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and staff were friendly.

Main advantages: Cosy environment and atmosphere in the hotel. Good breakfast buffet and very central location at the Kurfurstendamm and close to U-bahn and Zoo station.

Main disadvantages: As there was no air conditioning it was necessary to leave the windows open at night. Late night and early morning traffic and street cleaning noise was therefore a problem.

Main advantages: Excellent central location close to a Ubahn station.

Main advantages: Very helpfull staff, Superb breakfast, lots of variety, hot and cold. Excellent location close to underground and buses. Wonderful shower, comfy bed and a balcony to sit and watch Berlin, would return again, hoepfully soon.

Main advantages: The hotel was very elegant and charming. The hotel staff were all very friendly and ready to meet our special requests. The hotel was located just a few minutes walk from excellent dining, shopping, and the famous Kaiser Wilhelm church and Berlin's Europa center. Bus and U-Bahn stations were less than 100 meters from the front door. The breakfast selection was fresh, delicious, and more than ample.

Main disadvantages: The beds weren't so comfortable.

Main advantages: The location was very central to the shopping district and under 10 minutes walk to the s Bahn and Berlin Zoo. The breakfast was generous and enjoyed by everyone.
