Main disadvantages: Noisy if you are facing the street.

Main advantages: Perfect location, can walk to the major sites like Museum Island, Brandenburg Gate, etc. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Quick access to Friedrichstrasse, which has lots of transportation connections.

Main disadvantages: I did have issues with my internet connection. It took a while to resolve which was disappointing. However, we got there in the end.

Main advantages: The location was ideal being very close to the river, rail links, tourist sites, and major streets. Staff were very friendly and tried to assist me with issues. I also liked the history of the place.

Main disadvantages: I did not particularly liked the location of the reception. I had to cross the ctree in bad weather several times to check in to check out and to pick my luggage.

Main advantages: Excellent service: quick, clear guidance, good location.

Main advantages: The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. The location was excellent, close to Freidrichstrasse station and walking distance from the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. It was quiet at night.There is a good Italian restaurant next door and the Hotel restaurant is good - 10% discount.

Main disadvantages: - the reception is across the road, in the neighbors hotel but the road is very narrow, not traffic on the road and it takes only 10 steps.

Main advantages: - the location of the hotel is very convenient: in the center of the city, Unter den Linden is about 20 minutes walk. The nearest metro station is Friedrichstraße, it is about 150 meters far. But in the hotel we did not hear any noise from the trains. They say some windows of the hotel have the view to Reichstag, Brandenburger Tor is 25 minutes walk from the hotel.- the hotel is very-very quite. It seems that you are the only person who lives there :) Most of the guests are retired people.- the breakfast is great ( хочется также отметить очень хороший завтрак в отеле (buffet including 3 hot dishes). Service, quality, table layout – five points. - there is a TV-set in the room, about 30 channels, mostly in German, but two are in Englis

Main disadvantages: Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Main advantages: The situation of the Hotel Allegra in Mitte and close to Friedrichstrasse station was perfect. We were able to walk to many of the important sights. Buffet breakfast was very good.

Main disadvantages: This Hotel is an Annex of a different hotel and so the facilities are not great, but it is clean and comfortable

Main advantages: The location was great for visiting the sights and eating out

Main disadvantages: My double room was very small and clostrophobic in comparison to my friends whose was alos at the same rate.

Main advantages: Excellent location for all major attcations and especially New Year Clebrations at the Brandonburg Gate
