Moored on the River Spree in the heart of Berlin, this charming hostel boat sits amid the vibrant Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg districts, just 10 metres from the remains of the Berlin Wall. The Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat features cosy cabin rooms, equipped with free Wi-Fi, central heating and a spacious deck area with great views of the city. Guests can enjoy a drink on the Floating Lounge's deck in the summer, or next to the fireplace in winter. A rich breakfast buffet is provided daily for an additional fee. There is also a language party every Wednesday, which is free for hostel guests. Friedrichshain offers many bars and clubs, located within walking distance of the Eastern Comfort Hostel. Warschauer Straße S-Bahn (city rail) station is just a 10-minute walk from the hostel.

Main advantages: It was great to sleep on board on Spree River. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped us finding best prices in city for shopping, for dinner, etc. They even helped me to find veggie restaurants. It was snowing outside but it was very warm and cosy in our room. Also it is just next to East Side Gallery and very close to alternative Berlin, Friedrichshain, Simon-Dach-Straß, etc. As a young couple, we found it great in terms of almost every aspect.

David Castelnuovo del Garda, Italy - Individual tour

Main advantages: Amazing location! Such an adventure, to sleep in a lovely boat, on the river Spree, just beside the original Wall, and across the road from the O2!! we had tickets for "Lord of the Dance" show, so it was just great to be able to walk there and back, and it was beautiful all lit up with the snow! Staff was really nice, room was cute and surprisingly quiet, we slept really well! Plus, we were pleased to find out that the Circle City Tour sightseeing bus stops here! I would really recommend this adventure, the most original accomodation in Berlin!
