Main advantages: It is the best experince we have in any european hotel. Because of the great time we had, we decied to make Munich city as our firts city to visit before we go to any other destination in Europe.

Main disadvantages: For a 5 star hotel - because I stay in many - expected more flowers, candles and champagne in a room - as well as including breakfast for 2 - as this suite costs 1,000.00 $ + per night.

Main advantages: The location and the class of the hotel.

Main disadvantages: The room I got smelt bed and hotel staff agreed, then I was immediately moved in another room. In the new room the remote control of the TV didn't work. Again staff reacted promptly. The single rooms are very small.

Main advantages: Bayerischer Hof is a historical landmark hotel, with excellent hotel staff and beatiful interiors.

Main disadvantages: The really downside was that the swimming pool was closed for renovation during my complete stay. This information was not available when I made the reservation and was very dissapointing. In addition a nuber of handyman were busy in the sauna area which was quite irritating.

Main advantages: The employees were vey observant and helpful. I felt in good hands.

Barroso Lisbon, Portugal - Individual tour

Main advantages: Historic landmark Hotel in Munich, completely renovated with modern design and facilities, very well located in the centre of Munich. The choice of restaurants is very good, and the breakfast was excellent. The Polar Bar, in the top of the building during winter, was a cool surprise.

Main disadvantages: There is a huge difference in the types of rooms available. the smallest rooms are really too small but are still well appointed. There was a significant amount of building work with associated noise.

Main advantages: It offers so much inside that youeasily spend a weekend not leaving the hotel.
