Main advantages: The Art-otel was clean and on the newer side. The rooms had a little more room than some small European hotels and the bathroom was nice. (No wash/face cloths just like most European hotels.) The hotel (like many European hotels) had a fitted sheet on the bed and no top sheet...only a duvet. The bed was 2 twin beds put together. There were 5 of us and there was just enough room to put an extra bed in 1 of the 2 rooms. It was in a quiet part of town, but right next to the Markisches Museum underground train stop. So that made traveling around town very easy. (Figuring out the trains & ticketing was easily done.) The hotel was also within walking distance (about 20 mins) to the Pergamon Museum, 10 mins to the Nikolaiviertel (area with a church with 2 steeples, shopping, and restaurants), and 15 mins to the Berliner Dom & Ramada hotel area (that has restaurants as well). We didn't want to take the time or pay the 16 Euros for breakfast, but there was a small shop across the street where we bought rolls and croissants. We had 2 days in Berlin. Wished we had at least 3 or 4.

Main disadvantages: At first I was disappointed because if you look on the picture of the hotel you could think that the hotel has a terrace on the waterside but this is not . After a week I appreciated the hotel as quite and silent and there are enough terraces where you can sit ,drink and eat something

Main advantages: The location is perferct if you want to visit musea but want to relax out of the traffic of the city

Main disadvantages: I was disappointed that one had to pay extra for the tv and that there were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

Main advantages: The staff were extremely helpful. The room was comfortable with a good shower and the location was excellent for the museums. I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again. There was a good choice for breakfast

Main disadvantages: The gym which guests can use and is located down the road at a park plaza is not good, its way too small, has a really poor range of equipment and it would be better, I think, for the Art HOtel to either partner with Fitness First by Alexandar Platz or just not offer a gym.

Main advantages: Excellent location, good choice of local restaurants and easy to get to the underground train and walking to Berlin sights.

Main advantages: I have been extremely satisfied with the space of my room at the 6th floor and that's why I was so satisfied (I haven't seen other rooms). The plus of the hotel is the area (quiet) and outside the door of the hotel it's the U-bahn entrance (U2). Simplicity in design and confort!

Main disadvantages: We had booked a suite however on arrival we received a standard room and could not be moved until the next day. Restaurant closed before advised time and bar unavailable after 12

Main advantages: Staff friendly, very clean rooms, good location - shopping and sites and restaurants within walking distance
