Main disadvantages: Buffet breakfast facilities, lacked space. Needs a bigger room for this. It was like a cattle market one morning, the number of people there.

Main advantages: Excellent bedrooms, beds very comfortable. The Hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. Stayed in room at rear of hotel, very quiet, although adjacent is a apartment development where the work begins at 0600hrs and can be noisy, if your window is open.

Main disadvantages: I had to query the bill as they wanted to charge me 100 euros more than I had been quoted. When I queried it they were very polite and sorted it immediately.

Main advantages: We booked two triple rooms and a double. All were exceedingly comfortable and we were really impressed that the third bed in the triples was a 'proper' bed and not a 'put you up'. The breakfast was better than a five star that we had stayed in in Berlin a month before. A great hotel.

Main advantages: Fab hotel-would highly recommened it-there was a mix up with the booking so they upgraded us and didnt charge us for a third person-we were very impressed with everything about the hotel.

Main disadvantages: The sauna and spa area is in the basement and the towels are available there. But there are no lockers to store the clothes and also no bathrobes to be able to go there in bathing suit. That we found rather inconvenient.

Main advantages: We chose Abba Berlin Hotel for its great location to visit the city as well for the price we were able to afford. Upon the arrival our room wasn't ready yet, but the hotel stuff apologized professionally. When we returned in the evening they explained us, that their computer system collapsed and that there is no available room for our first night. In the mean time they have already arranged for us to stay the night in nearest hotel (just behind theirs). The room over there was renovated, clean and we also liked its convenient small kitchen. In a very professional way the hotel handled the apology for this mistake and as their compliment we were offered free breakfast for the rest of the stay (since our booking covered only the price of the room). The room was on the top floor, large and it offered a lot of space and comfort for a couple.

Main disadvantages: The heat in our room was overpowering and we weren't able to turn this down. As the windows weren't able to open full it was very uncomfortable during our stay.

Main advantages: Spotlessly clean, modern design. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent rates for a good quality hotel. Amazing shower in our bathroom!

Main disadvantages: The two separate covers on the double bed simply do not work- you end up between covers!! Language on the assessment form which guests were requested to fill in was incorrect in some cases - I pointed this out when I filled out this form.

Main advantages: The staff were most helpful and always greeted us with a smile. They were genuinely anxious to help.
