Area information

The hotel is in a quiet area of Prague 7, Holešovice, which is just a few minutes' tram ride from the beautiful, historic centre of Prague and all of its sights and attractions. The centre of the city is accessible by public transport around the clock. The exhibition centre and Sazka arena are also just a short tram ride away.

From the airport:
- Bus no. 119 to the terminus Dejvicka
- Tram no. 26 to Hradcanska tram stop
- Tram no. 25 to Delnicka tram stop.
- Go straight and take the second street left.
Or you can also use a direct AE bus from the airport to the railway station Nadrazi Holesovice. Then you follow directions below.

From the Main Railway Station (Hlavni nádrazi):
- Red metro line C to Nadrazi Holesovice
- Any tram to Delnicka tram stop.
- Then go back and take the first street on the left side.

From the Nádrazi Holesovice railway station:
- Take any tram to "Delnicka" tram stop and then go back and take the first street on the left side.

From Florenc bus station:

Main advantages: Very nice place, totally clean, in a calm area, out of the center of the city but still well connected with trams and metro. The buffet breakfast was always of a good quality and in definitely large quantity. The staff is really friendly, the rooms are pretty big and comfortable.

Main disadvantages: Breakfast is just ok. Checkout time is 10:30 am which is a little earlier than common practice.

Main advantages: It is located in a relatively quiet residential area. Hotel is clean and safe. Staff is nice. It's price is attractive. Public transportation is close ( tram 5 and 12 may take tourist to the city center) .

Main disadvantages: Only one small criticism really and that is that the rooms tend to be on the warm/hot side of things. You can as we did leave the windows wide and then it is ok. The staff warn that sometimes flying insects can enter the room if windows are left open and a light is on. We experienced none of that.

Main advantages: Extol Inn is a qiuet Hotel in Holosovice - outside the centre of Prague. However it is easily accessible using the excellent integrated transport system which is great value for money. The hotel website has easy to follow instructions on how to get there. The rooms are basic but adequate and the breakfast which is included in the price is of the buffet style and is very good. There is something for everyone there! The staff are friendly and helpful - speaking excellent English and other languages. Used as a base for exploring Prague - a wonderful city- it is ideal, being away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the more central(and expensive) hotels. There is Wi-Fi in every room , but the signal is weaker in some rooms than others. I recommend this hotel to all who like value for money without paying for the 'extras' that never get used!

Main disadvantages: Except for the honey and yogurt there were too many fat-traditional dishes at the breakfast. During the weekdays the breakfast is served till 9.30, sometimes a bit too early for as.

Main advantages: Very helpfull staff at the reception, local transportation tickets at the reception, located in a quiet area and only 10 min by tram from the old city.

Main disadvantages: The breakfast was a bit disorganised, and the location was 15min by tram - not a problem, especially given the price - but also wasn't the nicest walk in to town.

Main disadvantages: Jacuzzi could have been warmer, and breakfast could go a little later than 9:30.

Main advantages: Very clean, and the sauna and jacuzzi were great. Breakfast was good, wish we had known about the free special orders for block of rooms.

Main advantages: We stayed 3 nights in a 3*** executive room. It was very nice, clean and spacious. Staff is very helpful, the hotel restaurant is very good with reasonable prices. Tram is only a few hundred meters from the hotel, you can get to the city center within 20' minutes easily. We will certainly come back soon.

Main disadvantages: The breakfast left a lot to be desired and its not in the best area but if you don't mind a ten-15min tram ride to the central attractions its not so bad considering the money you save.

Main advantages: The whirlpool and sauna was nice at the end of the day after walking for hours and it was very clean, with a nice comfy bed (excecutive room).

Main advantages: ..Extol is a great little Inn. We had an executive room. It was big, clean, quiet with mini bar and coffee maker. We also received wellness robes. The place is cca 10-15m from city centre..so its easy acessible.. Breakfast is ok for the price..executive rooms do get an extra free offer of meals which are very good. One warning..if you take a taxi from centre to hotel, always, but alyways negotiate the price first..cca 200-250 czk.. The taxi drivers are cheating a lot..one was so shameless that he even said that the prices are 50% higer in the night..so we paid 380 czk!!

Main disadvantages: Far from the town centre but there are lots of little restaurants and supermarkets around. Room was hot with windows closed and noisy with them open. My girlfriend and I had a twin room(with two beds) so we pushed them together but the beds didn't quite fit so we were left with this hard part(the hard wooden edge of each bed) in the middle of our "new" bed.

Main advantages: Nice breakfast. Free access to the hotel's spa, jacuzzi and health club. Great value for what you pay.

Main advantages: Very clean and tidy. Quite a walk from the shops and the city itself, but a very scenic route. Slightly disappointed that there was no brewing facilities in the hotel room, however a very enjoyable stay.

Main advantages: The reviews were spot on as this place is a hidden gem. The staff was friendly and accomodating, my room was spotless and the location was conveniently located near public transport to take you into the heart of the city. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and was a reasonably priced alternative to the tourist spots in the city, not to mention the breakfast was more than adequate. This hotel is such a good value and I will be staying here again on my next visit to Prague.
