Main advantages: These Apartments are basic, clean and spacious. They are a couple of minutes walk from fig tree bay and the main strip are out of the way of the noise and crowds. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We stayed here end October therefore very quiet and cheap. May be different in the summer months but would highly recommend for location and staff and cleanliness.

Main disadvantages: The only thing I could really complain about is the view, which is nice of the pool to the side, but looking ahead it looked like another hotel would be put there at some point in the future. At which time I presume that the view would be much improved. I do stress however this isnt a 5* resort, so dont expect top quality, it is what it is. I would say that arriving at this time of year you may get more for your money if you turn up as a lot of the hotels were half empty.

Main advantages: I stayed at Astreas Beach as I had a friends wedding at the neighbouring Capo Bay. For an inexpensive hotel it is right on Fig Tree Bay, it has a lovely bakery beneath it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was large with a bedroom, bathroom and seperate lounge/kitchen area. The hotel isnt modern, and isnt for people expecting top quality from their fixtures and fittings! The shower was good, the room was clean and serviced daily, and the beds were comfy. If you want a budget hol this is a good clean hotel!

Main advantages: We have stayed at the Astreas Beach for the past eight years (usually twice a year). Although it could do with a fresh coat of paint the apartments are comfortable and very clean. All the staff are friendly and very helpfull. It is situated very close to Fig Tree Bay and just a short stroll to all bars and restaurants. We love it and are going back for two weeks in October.

Main advantages: I thought th convenience of the bakery/resteraunt was very good. The staff were so helpfull and any queries were answered straight away. The location of the Hotel being near to shops and the sea view from our balcony were wonderful.

Main disadvantages: Unfortunately we experienced an intruder late at night in the form of a rodent.After easily getting rid of it myself, we didnt sleep very well. After a full refund from the hotel, I can say that I will not be staying there again.

Main advantages: Great location in protaras, fig tree bay just 200m away. A 2* hotel with everything you would need for a small family room.
