is good, staff are extremely helpful, friendly and go out of their way
to make your stay as comfortable as possible, they offer a lot of advice
for while you are in the city and arrange good deals for tours to Great
Wall, acrobatics show etc which we highly recommend. Location is safe
and perfect for seeing all the main sights in Beijing and also for
seeing hutong life.

Main advantages: City Walls is the perfect base to explore Beijing. The courtyard house itself is a beautiful Chinese traditional style hotel located in a Hutong just north of the Forbidden City. The girls from the staff and owner Rick are very friendly and provide you with good suggestions and advice for your discovery of the city. Definitely the place to be (and to return to)!

Main advantages: The super helpful staff and very homey feel. We also had the ability to book tickets through the front desk to the Great Wall and the train station which was very helpful. Nice centralized location and felt very authentic in a Hutong. Highly Recommended!

Main advantages: The welcome was excellent, we were given an english map of Beijing and a guide of what to visit in the city and above all of how to go there from the hotel (bus, subway): it was very convenient! The English speaking Staff was always avalaible and willing to help if you had a question about Beijing. The prices of extras are reasonable (beverage and food) and both Wifi and Internet with computers are free. The location is great even though far from the subway and the design of the hotel is really nice and typical.

Main advantages: Everything! Fantastic location in the old city, near to forbbiden city. In a lovely authentic hutong. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although a budget hotel, the design of the rooms and courtyard were stunning. I would definitely return again and recommend to others.

Main advantages: location is perfect, although not easy too find, so be patient. once you arrive there the staff is very helpfull. if you decide to take airport express it will be very difficult to find a legal taxi from the station.. the guys in front of it ask for at least 80 yuans.

Main advantages: A fantastic oasis in a busy city. The staff were extraordinarily halpful & went out of there way to make our stay and onward travel as easy and comfortable as possible. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It was fantastic. It has a lovely atmosphere, has the bonus of being situated in a Hutong so you don't need to do a Hutong tour! and ...free peking Opera!A little bit difficult to find first time but just follow the alley next to the outdoor gym and you'll find it! A perfect place from where to explore the city. Stay here
