Main disadvantages: The central heating in the baement room was a stifling but when I adjusted the heating and used the AC it was OK

Main advantages: Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is only 5mins to the subway,
forbidden city tiannamen square and Wangfujing street. The muslim
restaurant Donglaishun is only around the corner. Convenient for
those who want to explore Beijing on foot.The reception staff is
friendly and very helpful.

Main disadvantages: The hotel staff in reception were a a bit cold. I suppose it is just the
way chinese people are. When we asked any question they replied only yes
or no and did not continue the conversation. So we need to force them
asking and asking till they gave us complete information. Only that...
Main advantages: Location is terrific and wonderful. Very next to the Forbidden City and
a safe town. Even for alone girls at night. The bell boy was charming
and explained everything to us... He also gave us a city map and spoke
very good English. The room was nice, confortable and big... Even it was
the cheapest one. I loved it... The reviews of the hotel weren t good in
booking web site... So I was very well surprised! Breakfast is excluded
from the rate, so you need to pay extra money for it. However is a very
complete one... Nice for Occidental people. They have nice excursions
and also offer a taxi to the airport at night. It s the double rate but
safety and sure if you have to catch a flight early in the morning.

Main disadvantages: No windows at budget rooms
Main advantages: I would like to commend to the highest level the frontdesk staffs of days inn forbidden city, esp sabrina, ara and andy.they went out of their way to help me and my daughter when my bag was unfortunately snatched at the night market at dong hua men street(tourists watchout!) near wangfujing.They were so concerned and helpful, it felt like i had a family at days inn in that time of crisis. Many thanks again Sabrina, Ara and Andy!
In Beijing when people cant read and speak english,taking a taxi is very difficult,staying at days inn was so practical cause wangfujing, tian an men, subway was a 15min walk away. staff all speak english. they have atm and money exchange machine at the lobby. wifi at wifi & internet avail at business center. bathroom is good unlike some negative reviews, tho corners of walls in bath area can be cleaned better

Main disadvantages: Our main complain was that we were there at the end of October and it
was cold. The windows were very old, we could not lock them really and
there was no heating in the hotel.
Main advantages: I liked that the room was large, very clean, and the breakfast was
excellent. The hotel is located at the neighbourhood of the main sites
of Beijing. The staff was helpful, they helped to acquire train tickets,
called taxi for us.

Main advantages: The hotel has an excellent location. I also recommend to take the tour they offer to go to the great wall, very very convenient and a good value (I payed 200 yuen including lunch, transportation and a english speaker guide).

Main disadvantages: The rooms are very small and some rust fixtures around bathroom sink, shower area..they should be replaced.
Main advantages: Overall, very happy with our stay. The location is amazing as we walked to forbidden city and the surrounding parks. Nice breakfast spread. Good value.

Main disadvantages: dim and lack of lights in the room. not too nice bathroom compared to the room. we asked for a taxi to get us to the train station in the morning, but it was not done and we were not given any information of it!
Main advantages: location: close to tiananmen and metro stations. affordable prices for the rooms. room is comfy. nice small restaurant just outside the lobby. most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Main disadvantages: The bathroom, even though very clean, is however a little worn out. But all is functional and the shower is for a small bathroom very spacious! Do not expect to much flexibility from the staff, although they are really ready to help. You might have to check, if you really got the right sized room. But all in all only minor things to complain.
Main advantages: The hotel is located almost on the edge of the Forbidden City. The staff is very eager and speak for China very good english. They have a very wide range of food at breakfast and lunch buffet. Laundry service may not be the cheapest, but is very fast and thorough. The rooms are very clean. I would stay here again anytime!!

Main disadvantages: The bathroom althoough clean enough could be more looked after (water marks all over the stainless steel elements that look really bad!)
Main advantages: Nice enough hotel, personnel competent and helpful, very good situation. Slight dampness in the room, but clean and quite fonctional. Stayed for 4 night with kids and even the restaurant was good too (try the buffet lunch), very practical for late dining.
