Main disadvantages: Lost a few points due to the drainage in the bathroom not being optimal.

Main advantages: The hotel has super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast area with a view on the top floor. Spaceous rooms. Good location for business with the university and to visit the centre by foot or tram/bus. An extra point of interest is the botanical garden right across the road, where you can relax, read or meditate and not realize you are in the middle of a vibrant city. The hotel is modern, clean and understated.

Main advantages: Good location next to the (very impressive) university botanical gardens and just up the hill from the rest of the city. Staff during the day were very pleasant but a lack of a 24hr reception could cause issues for some. Rooms were clean and the place has clearly been renovated in recent years to provide a better atmosphere. Breakfast was basic but pleasant.

Main disadvantages: Everything was a1

Main advantages: Great location--super friendly staff that was always there to help you. Loved the Tram system/network and the free pass that the Hotel gave you-- never had to wait longer than five minutes for a Tram and they took you all over the city which was beautiful and super clean. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the price !

Main disadvantages: Very few complaints. The outside and the halls make it appear a bit like a hostel, but the comforts in the rooms disprove this. The television playing constantly in the lobby distracts from the sun spilling in from he lovely garden

Main advantages: The room was simple, immaculate, and extremely comfortable, with a powerful shower and a soft, clean, white, fluffy bed. The breakfast was again simple but excellent, with great fresh-baked breads, cheeses, and Bircher muesli. The staff were all helpful and sweet. They have good bikes available for free, and a bowl of fruit and fresh squeezed juice available all the time.

Main disadvantages: Mini Bar is missing

Main advantages: Excellent service quality from personal, room,furniture and bathroom were great and the Mobility Ticket und Free Internet and DVDs are real great ideas. I will book it again, if I visit Basel !
