Superbly located in the residential part of Lausanne on the shores of Lake Geneva, surrounded by 10 acres of private garden and overlooking the majestic French Alps. Situated next to the pictoresque harbour, yet only 5 minutes away from Lausanne's shopping district and 35 minutes from the International Airport Geneva.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Main disadvantages: The prices at the spa are extremely high. The garden view rooms are more a "building view rooms", that's why we prefered to change for a lake/mountain view with an extra payment.

Main advantages: The lake and mountain view, the friendly staff, the hotel itself (beautigul building), The food in the restaurants... The staff at the reception offered us an upgraded room for a very reasonable price, had the lake view instead of garden/building view.

Main disadvantages: The Cafe Beau-Rivage manager and employees need to be well trained, in order to be friendly and have a service with a smile to their guests; I wasn't satisfied when I dinned-in. I rate the Housekeeping 8 out of 10 for not providing new soaps on a daily basis. And finally, the hotel is a little bit overpriced.

Main advantages: The Reception were very helpful and courteous; the Concierge is knowledgeable and prompt, and the Housekeeping is efficient and responsive. It is an experience that exceeded our exceptions and needs. It is the best hotel in that area, and they really do care about their guests.

Main advantages: This was our 4th visit. We were made very welcome. Up graded our room which was a real treat after such a long drive from Italy. Much appreciated. Loved the room and the views.. Staff and service excellent. Spa lovely and relaxing. A favourite hotel of mine.

Main disadvantages: We didnt have to pay parking because we had a disabled pass. Had we not have had this I am not sure how much the parking would have been, but I feel sure it would have been expensive.

Main advantages: On check-in, pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to lake view rooms. Excellent service - nothing was a problem for staff who were very helpful. Excellent food and excellent comfort.

Main advantages: This place is tops. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the best of Swiss hospitality and responsiveness. The hotel located right on Lake Lausanne (more like a resort) is grand and is in tip-top shape - not an insignificant task given its size. We had a lake view room, which was comparable to any Four Seasons hotel...very large, luxurious, clean, and with every amenity one might expect from a hotel of this caliber. The room was whisper quiet and the beds extremely comfortable. The numerous hotel restaurants were all wonderful and best of all, they all had the best views of the lake in the city. The extensive gardens are filled with flowers and are well manicured. The pools were great for both relaxing and swimming laps. My wife really enjoyed the gym and spa, and my children were given free pastry and flower arrangement lessons, and sent on a treasure hunt around the grounds. Besides the facilities, the staff were ever attentive and friendly (no snobs here). A great value for those on vacation or business who desire the best.

Main disadvantages: We were promised a change to a larger room at check in.We packed our bags ready for the switch which never took place due to miss management,they should not have made a promise that they could not keep.

Main advantages: We enjoyed our stay at the beau-rivage especially the breakfast and the breakfast venue.Enjoyed the lake view from our balcony.Our kids enjoyed feeding the birds.

Main disadvantages: the room i booked is garden view ,but unfortunatly it was not .from the window i was just seeing buildings all around.but i have to admit that the lady on the reception when we check in was so helpful and patient, she showed us 5 different kinds of rooms to choose and finaly we got one but at a lower level i.e from the 5th floor to the 1st.another point there was no ketel or coffee making machine,tea,sugar or coffee in the room as we were expecting as it is the case in all the 5 and 4 star hotels we stayed in in other countries.

Main advantages: the location is good,and quiet.the staff were so helpfull especially Kais. he is gentle and keen and honest.he told us and helped us in planning our tour in laussane during our two day stay.i think next time if we will come to laussane we will come to this hotel mainly because of his staff

Main disadvantages: I dont like that they block the money from my credit card more, than the price of room. Until today i dont have the money that they have to retern. It is not a good expierence to block the money in case off...

Main advantages: I like very good hotel stuff, they gave a lot of attention to you and try to do the best during the time we spent there.

Main advantages: The location is perfect with fabulous views of the lake and the mountains. The staff were superb, particularly the lady concierge and the maitre'd in the bistro who lived in Evian (across the lake by ferry).

Main advantages: Location is good, very close to Ouchy Metro Station. Staff are kind and helpful. Hotel is nice and rooms are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is good too. I have stayed in a comfortable double room for 3 nights and i highly do recommend this hotel. It is definately a thumbs up.
